The Seventeenth Volume of "Damngak Dzö," including the Sadhana and Vase Ritual of the Nine Victorious Goddesses. The Seventeenth Volume of "Damngak Dzö." Including the Sadhana and Vase Ritual of the Nine Victorious Goddesses. The Sadhana and Vase Ritual of the Nine Victorious Goddesses is respectfully recorded. Om Swasti! Guru Buddha Bodhisattva Namo Namah! The wondrous aspect of the Wisdom Goddess, whose form is perfectly complete in various ways, who dispels inner darkness, and possesses the white light of nectar, may you be victorious here! Among them, the root mantra of Ushnishavijaya, spoken and blessed by Buddhas as numerous as the sands of eighty-eight great koti of the Ganges River, completely purifies the obstacles of evil destinies and karma, shows the path to happiness and bliss, and enables one to quickly attain the state of immortality, as it is said. Therefore, wise individuals who use mantras as a path should practice with utmost diligence. Among these, the detailed mandala ritual of this deity will be written separately. Based on the yoga of the nine deities, the bathing ritual and the offering of one hundred tormas, etc., are the practices of the previous lamas, so they will be written. The preliminary actions for this ritual are: on a square platform, arrange the vase in the usual manner. On top of the vase, place the stupa of Ushnishavijaya, which contains the essence of this dharani. On a high platform, place offerings of pure water mixed with milk and white flowers in a conch shell or copper vessel. The arrangement of other offerings: as practiced by some later lamas, starting with the boundary-setting flowers and offering water in the northeast, the seven items up to the food are arranged clockwise from east to north. In front, place offering water and foot-washing water; on the right, place flowers, incense, lamp, and three lights; on the left, place food and perfume. Alternatively, the three lights, or the boundary-setting, can be placed in the back. Or, the five objects of enjoyment on the right and the two waters on the left are sufficient, but it is not absolutely necessary. Similarly, the transcendent torma, the torma of the Four Great Kings, and the three portions generally do not have a fixed direction, but the torma for the deceased is in the center.

The direction in front of the mandala, and the four directions outside the Four Great Kings' torma, how should the three portions be arranged comfortably? Furthermore, if it is not comfortable that way, starting from the east, arrange the Four Great Kings' torma with the tip of the deceased's torma facing east. It is sufficient to place the three portions in whatever direction is comfortable. Saying that it must be towards the south is without reason or logic. Generally, the face of the vase and the representation should also face the east of the world. If you are doing a thousand offerings, then a thousand offerings of food for the deities, a thousand lamps, and a thousand incenses are definitely necessary. Furthermore, if you can accomplish umbrellas and banners and so on, you must have a thousand complete. If you cannot accomplish it, then do as much as is appropriate. Even a small piece of cloth or silk painting is fine, but writing on poisonous paper or using a dirty cloth painting is not effective. Doing such things does not benefit the accomplishment of the activity, and it will offend the deities of the mandala, and it will also discredit good practice with bad practice. Therefore, it should be abandoned from afar. These offerings can be placed around the edge of the vase mandala, or they can be placed on other platforms and circled from the four directions. Even a thousand tormas can be arranged in this way, but the practice of arranging the tormas in other containers is more important. Furthermore, all the necessary instruments such as music should be prepared, and these can be understood from seeing the practice. Then, everyone should first bathe and cleanse themselves, and visualize the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, noble Sangha, etc., filling the sky, and then perform prostrations, either elaborate or concise. This sequence for beginners has already been explained in detail in the practice manual. Then, recite the seven-branch prayer from the "Bhadra-caryā Praṇidhāna" three times, and play grand music at the three verses of offering, such as "Excellent flowers..." After that, there appears to be a ritual for taking the vows of fasting oneself. If all those performing the ritual have received and maintained the vows up to a novice monk, then it is not necessary to take the vows of fasting. If all of them have not received the vows of a novice monk or a fully ordained monk, then it must be taken. If the attainment of monastic vows is mixed, then it is necessary to separately distinguish between taking and not taking. However, at the time of
