May I attain the Vajradhara state where grasping and fixation are self-liberated! This profound and clear supplication was composed by Padma Gar gyi Wangchuk. Then, to receive the empowerment at the end: Glorious and precious Lama, I beseech you to bestow the four empowerments. Bless me to ripen and be liberated. I supplicate the Lama's body... Bless my body to blaze with bliss and warmth. Thus, I pray from the depths of my heart and bones. From the white Oṃ (藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡) on the Lama's forehead, countless white rays of light emanate, dissolving into the foreheads of myself and all sentient beings. From the body also emanate inconceivable forms, dissolving into the body, purifying and cleansing from the root all the accumulations of sins, obscurations, misdeeds, faults, and stains accumulated through the body from birth to birth throughout all lifetimes. I receive the body vase empowerment. The body is transformed into the nature of vajra. I have the authority to practice the generation stage, and I am fortunate to attain the Nirmanakaya. Glorious and precious Lama, I beseech you to bestow the four empowerments. Bless me to ripen and be liberated. I supplicate the Lama's speech... Bless my speech to develop power. Thus, I pray from the depths of my heart and bones. From the red Āḥ (藏文：ཨཱཿ，梵文天城体：आ，梵文罗马拟音：āḥ，汉语字面意思：阿) on the Lama's throat, countless red rays of light emanate, dissolving into the throats of myself and all sentient beings. From the mouth also emanate inconceivable garlands of mantras such as Āli (藏文：ཨཱ་ལི་，梵文天城体：आलि，梵文罗马拟音：āli，汉语字面意思：阿利) and Kāli (藏文：ཀཱ་ལི་，梵文天城体：कालि，梵文罗马拟音：kāli，汉语字面意思：嘎利), dissolving into the speech, purifying and cleansing from the root all the accumulations of sins, obscurations, misdeeds, faults, and stains accumulated through speech from birth to birth throughout all lifetimes. I receive the speech secret empowerment. The speech is transformed into the nature of vajra. I have the authority to practice Tummo, and I am fortunate to attain the Sambhogakaya. Glorious and precious Lama, I beseech you to bestow the four empowerments. Bless me to ripen and be liberated. I supplicate the Lama's mind... Bless my mind to give rise to realization. May all the gatherings of defilements and stains be completely purified from their roots. May the mind obtain the empowerment of wisdom and awareness. May the mind transform into the nature of vajra. May I have power over meditating on the messenger of the path. May I become fortunate to obtain the fruit of Dharmakaya. Glorious and precious Lama, please grant the empowerment as requested. Bless me to ripen and be liberated. I pray to the words of the Lama, to realize the indivisibility of the three kayas. By praying from the depths of my heart and bones, the Lama, father and mother, dissolve into light and merge into me. I also dissolve into light. I obtain the fourth precious word empowerment. The defilements of body, speech, and mind, along with their habitual tendencies, are purified. I transform into the nature of wisdom vajra. I have power over meditating on the path of Mahamudra. I become fortunate to obtain the fruit of Svabhavikakaya. Dedication and Aspiration: Glorious Lama, master of the four kayas, having requested the four supreme empowerments in the four mandalas, may the four stains be purified, and the four continuums ripen. Please bless me to obtain the fruit of the four kayas. By the great power of whatever merit I have accumulated, and by the blessings of the clear light Mahamudra, may all these four empowerments that I have received be accomplished as desired. By this merit, may I quickly attain the root and lineage Lama. May I place all beings, without exception, on that ground. Glorious Lama, just as your body is, and your retinue, lifespan, activities, and pure lands, and just as your excellent and auspicious name is, may I and others become exactly like that. By the power of praising and praying to you all, in whatever place I and others dwell, may sickness, evil spirits, poverty, and strife be pacified, and may Dharma and auspiciousness increase. In all lifetimes, may I never be separated from the glorious Lama, may I enjoy the prosperity of the Dharma without separation, may I fully perfect the qualities of the grounds and paths, and may I quickly attain the state of Vajradhara. Thus, this is the extraordinary instruction transmitted from the omniscient Bodongpa, the preliminary recitation of the co-emergent union of Mahamudra, the union of profound clarity and indivisibility. It was written purely as it appears in the practice of the lineage of Lamas. May it be supremely virtuous and auspicious! Mangalam!
