Etc. The two purities of the meditation mudra, even a little bit of sunlight, will truly bring about accomplishment. Pacifying, subduing, and stiffening, as well as terrifying sentient beings, is the appearance of the opened face, the place where the mandalas of the elements reside. Tribes of gods, non-gods, hand-goers, etc., having meditated on this, will accomplish it. From the twelve thousand verses of the "Glorious Kalachakra" spoken by the glorious first Buddha, this is an excerpt on the method of practicing the six-limbed yoga, which is inseparable from skillful means and wisdom. The Indian master Śrī Bhadra Bodhi and the Tibetan translator Gyijo Bandhe Zlawe Ozer translated, edited, and finalized it for Dro Geshe. This is an excerpt of the six-limbed yoga practice from the "Glorious Kalachakra Root Tantra," known as the small Six-Limbed Tantra, which is the root of the Vajra Yoga oral instructions. There are many condensed commentaries and notes by previous great beings, and this is the essence of the condensed meaning. Introduction: 1. The basis and the six-limbed yoga, 2. The types, 3. Self-entry, 4. Skillful means and result, 5. The four limbs and transference, 6. Attachment, 7. The path and dispelling obstacles, 8. The state, 9. Stages, and 10. Ultimate result. Thus it is said. ༈ In Sanskrit: Ṣoḍaṅga yoga upadeśa nāma. In Tibetan: Called the Instruction on the Six-Limbed Yoga. Homage to the glorious and venerable lamas and the glorious Kalachakra. This vajra verse of the oral transmission of the Six-Limbed Yoga, known as the Kalachakra Oral Transmission, has three parts: the beginning, the main body, and the conclusion. The beginning has two parts: praise and the vow to compose. The first is: Having paid homage to the Kalachakra. The second is: The six-limbed yoga will be explained. The meaning of the second main body has three parts: concise statement, detailed explanation, and summary of the meaning. The first has two parts: the actual concise statement and the method of guiding through the order of the faculties. The first is: ༈ Individual gathering and meditation, as well as breath control and holding, mindfulness and samadhi, in the tantra, the supreme Buddha has spoken of as the six limbs of yoga. All should be known as sixfold. The second is: ༈ The best first arises with experience, the middling breath control.

Etc. Finally, the six are practiced sequentially. Second, the detailed explanation is divided into four: the individual who relies on practice, the path of practice, the way this path achieves results, and other incidental tips. The first is: Child, bow and vase, and secret wisdom have already existed, thereby obtaining the fourth empowerment, having vows with root and branches, thereby abiding in solitude. The second is divided into three: the limb of body vajra finger contemplation, the limb of speech vajra life-sustaining, and the limb of mind vajra subsequent samadhi. The first is divided into two: detailed explanation and meaning summary. The first is divided into two: the limb of individual collection and the limb of meditation. The first is: Thus, practice individual collection, through practicing emptiness, make the stopping wind stop, the arising power produces bliss, the elements appear as signs of the path, the essence is emptiness, collect all individual thoughts, it is said to be divided into ten kinds, considered to be the direct perception of the senses, the wisdom aggregate is wisdom. The practice is: on a soft cushion, the body is upright, establish the vajra full lotus posture, the tongue touches the palate, the abdomen is tightened, the eyes are turned upwards, this is the posture of rotating the crown of the head. The two hands form the vajra binding mudra, thereby binding all the winds. Place the life force in the bindu between the eyebrows, on the right contemplate the wind of earth, at night with a cover, contemplate emptiness towards the sky, practice emptiness, not at dusk and dawn and noon, during the day without a cover, looking at the sky, first early and then late, not at the sun's noon. Practicing in this way can prevent external objects, etc., internally there are the eyes of the gods, etc., emptiness is form, able to see objects with signs. For the Dharma, there are ten bhumi paramitas, for the deities, they are called ten goddesses. As a sign, ten kinds of sights will be seen on the path, smoke, mirage, sights in the sky, and the appearance of lamps, earth merges into wind, finally the cloudless clear sky, is the wisdom paramita with signs. Burning, sun and moon, lightning, sound and Rahu, the six bindus are the last. Everything is seen as a cause, is with signs, the five elements are the five wisdom aggregates, Guhyasamaja and Name Praise each half, Nirmanakaya and Sambhogakaya are without realization. The bliss of vajra erection arises, after practice, white periods and black lines will be seen, what is seen is internal.
