Since the obstacle to not completing [the path] is true clinging, one should know that all dharmas are without inherent existence, like illusion and dreams. Since the obstacle to benefiting others is one's own benefit, it is crucial to strive in the mind of benefiting others and in aspirations. It seems important that practitioners hold this in their hearts. Furthermore, this recitation and practice of profound essence, although known as preliminary practices, is actually the core of the main practice. May hundreds of thousands of fortunate individuals, by striving here, attain the supreme state of union. Thus, the venerable Lama, the all-knowing, all-seeing, master of wisdom and compassion, has long granted this. Moreover, the earlier and later generations of Lamas residing and practicing in this hermitage, and especially Pheltshe Rigdzin Lama Gonpo Dorje, the illuminator of the teachings of the great treasure revealer Samten Lingpa, especially urged [this] with auspicious divine support. May the virtuousness increase, [done] by Yonten Gyatso Lodro Thaye's assembly, who have gained unwavering faith in the non-sectarian teachings, in the solitary retreat of Kunzang Dechen Osal Ling!
