From emptiness, a vajra ground, without walls or tents, within a protective wheel with blazing power. In front of oneself, eight great charnel grounds where accomplishments arise. With the guardians of the directions and the guardians of the fields, and trees, fire, and water, filled with corpses, zombies, rakshasas, demons, heroes, and gatherings of dakinis. In the center, on a triangular dark blue blazing mandala, from Pam (པྃ) arises a lotus, and from Ram (རཾ) arises a sun disc as a seat. From one's own heart, a dark blue blazing Hum (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马转写:hūṃ,meaning: Hum) emanates and settles on the seat. From the radiating light of that Hum (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马转写:hūṃ,meaning: Hum), a vajra kila marked with Hum (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马转写:hūṃ,meaning: Hum) arises. From that, light radiates. Cutting off all enemies and obstacles with umbrellas, transferring them elsewhere. Gathering back and completely transforming. Transforming into the glorious Wisdom Protector Mahakala, the great hero with a dark blue body like the clouds at the end of time. Three round red eyes gazing intensely. Mouth open, bared fangs. Tongue curled. Uttering laughter of Haha, Hum Hum, and Phat Phat. Mustache, eyebrows, hair blazing yellow like fire. Of the four hands, the first right hand holds a Beta fruit like a heart, and the first left hand holds a kapala filled with blood, holding it up and down at the heart. The lower right hand holds a blazing sword in a striking posture, and the lower left hand holds a khatvanga marked with a trident, with silk banners hanging. Adorned with five dry human heads as a crown, and a necklace of fifty-one wet, bleeding human heads. Adorned with jewel tips, four types of snakes, and all bone ornaments. Wearing a tiger skin loincloth. In the midst of a blazing mass of wisdom fire, seated in a heroic posture on a crossed field seat. Here, some new versions have only the trident, while most old versions have

Holding a vajra khatvanga instead of a trident as an attribute, it is also acceptable even if bone ornaments are not described. From his heart, three Hūṃs (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) emanate and abide in front: the Lord of Action, emanated from body, speech, and mind, with a dark blue-black body. With a wrathful, fierce, and terrifying form, a short stature, a raven's face with a vajra iron beak, a frowning face, and three eyes. The right hand brandishes a hooked knife, and the left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood at the heart and sucks it. With a posture of one leg extended and one bent. Adorned with black poisonous snakes, and vajra garudas emanate from the hairline. Wearing a tiger skin loincloth. Transformed into three forms. To the right of these three is a black flesh-eater with a lion's face, holding a sword and a skull cup. The left is a stretched dancing posture. Three wrapped in black silk garments. To the left is red Caṇḍikā, with one face and four arms, the two right hands holding a sword and a skull cup, the two left hands holding a human head and a bow and arrow. Naked, wrathful, and seductive, adorned with bone ornaments. The three abiding in a posture with the right leg bent and the left leg extended. To the left of the main deity is the goddess Rematī, holding a sword and a mongoose. In front of her is Ekajaṭī, dark red-black, with four hands, holding a trident, a human heart, a wet skull, and an iron wolf. Outside of that, at the eight door frames, the eight vowel letters are completely transformed. In the east is a ḍākinī with a vulture's face. In the north is a garuda's face. In the west is Khāṭa (the original text is incomplete here). In the south is an owl's face. In the southeast is a pig's face. In the southwest is a dog's face. In the northwest is a wolf's face. In the northeast is a tiger's face. All eight are red, naked, with one face and two hands, holding a hooked knife and a skull cup, abiding in various standing postures. All those retinues also have their hair standing on end and three eyes. With human head ornaments and necklaces. Abiding majestically on a corpse seat in the midst of blazing flames. Outside of that, there are a thousand black ones, a hundred thousand flesh-eaters, a million mamos, and all the assemblies of the eight classes of gods and demons surrounding them. From the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at one's own heart and from the heart of the Lord, rays of light emanate. From Akanishta, the great charnel ground Cool Grove, Nalanda, Glorious Mountain, and so on, the Lord descends with his retinue.
