Since all grounds have existed in union from the very beginning, it should be understood that the state of the resultant Buddha also manifests as union, and so on. Seventh, to summarize the general meaning of these: Thus, the intention of all the Victorious Ones is the same. This Dharma called "One Hundred and Fifty Special Qualities" is said to be superior to all other Dharmas. Then, are the teachings spoken by the Buddha Bhagavan, the Dharma that they themselves know and comprehend in their hearts, which have now been compiled into the scriptures, even more special? It is not so. What is it then? It means that it is more special than what some accomplished ones who have appeared in this Jambudvipa have experienced, and the different views held by some panditas, as well as some common religious beliefs of old Tibetans. Apart from that, all the Buddha's teachings are not contradictory to anything, so it shows a practice in which all the teachings converge, tending and flowing into this unity of intention. As the venerable one said: "I am a tantric yogi, my conduct is the discipline of Vinaya, in accordance with the words of Thubpa (Shakyamuni Buddha), I do not slander anything, so there is no bias relying on the Dharma, except to destroy those with wrong views." And so on. Eighth, regarding the liberation of the Dharma-lord individual: The three protectors of the world who have realized the Dharma, and Jigten Sumgon (1143-1217), who compiled his teachings, are both widely known as tenth-level Bodhisattvas, and are established by direct perception, etc. Only a symbolic representation of their immeasurable qualities is shown, and details can be found in their respective biographies. Second, the detailed explanation of the individual branches, presented in the manner of spokes, has seven collections of essential points: The collection of essential points of the general Dharma-wheel; the collection of essential points of dependent arising that benefits all; the collection of essential points of Vinaya-individual liberation; the collection of essential points of learning-Bodhi mind; the collection of essential points of secret mantra-Vidyadhara vows; in particular, the collection of essential points of view, conduct, and meditation; the collection of essential points of the resultant-ultimate Buddha ground, there are seven in total. The first has the root

Thirty words. Plus sixteen, totaling forty-six. The second part has fifteen root words, plus one, totaling sixteen. The third part has nineteen root words, plus four, totaling twenty-three. The fourth part has twenty-four root words, plus six, totaling thirty. The fifth part has twenty-eight root words, plus seventeen, totaling forty-five. The sixth part has twenty root words, plus five, totaling twenty-five. The seventh part has fifteen root words, plus one, totaling sixteen. Third, the condensed meaning, essential instructions, practical application, and the way the results are shown as fruit, are fourfold: the meaning of all characteristics is included above; and where the key to the practice of that meaning is included; the key to contradictions and connections is shown; and the way in which special qualities arise. The first of these is: In general, if we summarize the meaning of these characteristics, how many words do you think it will contain? Some are contained in each word, such as: All the Buddha's teachings show the nature or state of reality. And, all eighty-four thousand collections of teachings are one method of attaining Buddhahood. And, all vehicles are one lineage, one vehicle. And, the point of the three vows is that they are the same in the vow to abandon the ten non-virtuous deeds to be abandoned. And so on. In particular, in general, all the sacred Dharma is bound together in one direction by one Vajra speech: All Buddhas have shown the nature or state of reality. That is to say, all Buddhas, the Bhagavan, are endowed with the wisdom of omniscience, and are not like external heretics who perform fortune and power, and for the sentient beings of the three realms, because they are endowed with the wisdom of omniscience, they are endowed with great compassion, and they guide the sons of followers to the path of liberation, so they are called the Buddha's manifestation, the way of dwelling, and the nature. That is, the nature and state of the cause, the nature and state of the path, and the nature and state of the result come in three ways. Since this does not include the three vehicles, or the two of Tantra and Sutra, the cause is the nature of the Tathagatagarbha, which is the reality of nature, and the difference between whether it is directly indicated or not, and the path vehicle is different, and those differences are also self-
