Viewing the indivisible as the Dharmakaya. This is a combination of obstacle removal and increase. Although there are many other obstacle removals and increases, they are all gathered here. Session twenty-nine. Second, the way virtues arise and the way to progress on the path: Emphasizing the preliminaries, by meditating on the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment and impermanence, the mind turns away from this life. With faith in karma and its results, one protects it by dedicating one's life. Through the faults of samsara, disgust arises for samsara, and one is determined to renounce it and desires to attain enlightenment. By meditating on loving-kindness, compassion, and the mind of enlightenment, one is separated from the desire for one's own happiness and only accomplishes the benefit of others. Through the Hundred Syllable Mantra, signs of purification of sins and obscurations arise in actual practice and dreams, and realization arises. Through the mandala, body and mind are at ease, desires are small, one is content, and one obtains immeasurable merit. Through Guru Yoga, devotion blazes, and samadhi and blessings arise effortlessly. Through shamatha (calm abiding), physical pliancy is attained. One possesses clairvoyance and miraculous powers, and one has little attachment to food and clothing, possesses radiance, and so on, endlessly. Through vipashyana (insight meditation), one progresses through the ten bhumis and five paths, and ultimately perfects the realization of no-meditation. Session thirty. The way to progress on the path is also here: one-pointedness, freedom from elaboration, one taste, and the three levels of no-meditation, great, medium, and small, are progressed through. Among them, the first is: The mind is slightly stable in shamatha, very stable, and extremely stable, in that order, progressing through the path of one-pointedness, great, medium, and small. The second is: Because that habituation is stable, one realizes that all phenomena are free from elaboration. Without relying much on meditation and mindfulness, freedom from elaboration arises slightly, arises greatly, arises extremely, is unstable, and is slightly stable, and is very stable, progressing through the path of freedom from elaboration, small, medium, and great. The third is: All phenomena are slightly realized as one taste in many tastes, and greatly realized, and extremely realized, so because the previous clinging to emptiness is purified, it is unstable, and slightly stable, and extremely stable, progressing through the one taste, small, medium, and great. The fourth is: The object of meditation and the meditator are slightly realized as separate, greatly realized, and extremely realized, so compared to the previous comfort in appearance, the subsequent mindfulness of recollection is like an illusion, and is also separate or unstable, and slightly stable, and

From the power of extremely stable empowerment, one progresses through the three stages of non-meditation: small, medium, and large. With vajra-like samadhi, one abandons the two obscurations along with their habitual tendencies, and thus proceeds to the state of Buddhahood. Third, the way to manifest the result: By meditating in this way, one progresses from single-pointedness to the great state of non-meditation, thereby manifestly attaining Buddhahood. Until samsara is empty, one continuously benefits sentient beings with the four activities, and the activity of placing all beings on the path of maturation and liberation, possessing the nature of pervasiveness and constancy, is spontaneously accomplished. Therefore, grasp the key points of this, and if the signs of arising from meditation do not disappear, then one will surely attain enlightenment in one lifetime and one body. Thus, this concise visualization sequence of the Kamtsang tradition's "Great Seal Coemergent Union," combined with meditation sessions, has been recorded in writing. If there are any errors in this, I pray for the forgiveness of the lama and the assembly of dakinis. Whatever merit there is, I dedicate it to all beings as vast as space, may they realize the Great Seal in one lifetime, thereby spontaneously accomplishing the two benefits. This, appearing highly noble in two ways, was written and propagated as a practice note by Badzreshvara from Kura Tashi Gang, due to the request of Gu Gungpa Nangso Chöyunpa, who became the heart-son of the glorious lama. May auspicious glory blaze, may the blaze of experience and realization be intense, and may it become an ornament for the flourishing of the teachings. There are thirty-one sessions. May all the world be auspicious! (Tibetan: ཤུ་བྷ་མསྟུ་སརྦ་ཛ་ག་ཏ་མི་དཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: शुभस्तुसर्वजगतमिदं, Sanskrit Romanization: śubhamastu sarvajagatāmidaṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: May this entire world be auspicious!) The Sixth Volume of the Treasury of Pith Instructions, the guiding notes of the Great Seal Coemergent Union, the Lamp Illuminating the Essence, the Nectar Essence, the Dharmakaya Pointing Instructions.
