The Nine Dharmas of the Bodiless Dakini, Instructions of Tilopa. Rachung Dorje Drakpa. The Nine Dharmas of the Bodiless Dakini, Instructions of Tilopa. Rachung Dorje Drakpa. The Nine Dharmas of the Bodiless Dakini, Instructions. Homage! Namo Guru Deva Dakini! This instruction of the nine dharmas has two parts. First, a brief history and explanation of the lineage: The Lord of Yoga, Tilopa, went to the monastery of Oddiyana Gandhola and received the complete oral transmission of the three cycles of jewel instructions from the wisdom dakini. As he prepared to go to the human realm, the retinue of dakinis requested him to stay, but he did not grant it. As he prepared to leave on the tenth day, the wisdom dakini's farewell teaching was: The body is invisible, the sound of Hum Supremely pleasant and captivating, gazing intently at the sky, gods and dakinis gathered like clouds, heroes and heroines flashed like lightning, umbrellas, victory banners, flags, and musical instruments, and other offerings, filled the sky without anyone holding them. From the center of the rainbow mandala, a blue Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable appeared in the rays of light, seeing various offerings being presented, the great teacher Tilopa folded his hands in prayer. The essence is the wisdom dakini, the form is the blue Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, from which the Brahma sound itself was heard, saying: "Kyeho! Son, listen, yogi, untie the knot of the maturing liberation mind, look at the mirror of your own mind for vows, strike the sword on the water for actions, illuminate the samaya substances with the sun of realization, look at the lamp of awareness and wisdom, turn the wheel of the network of channels and winds, look at the mirror of the outer world for equal taste, meditate on the self-liberated Mahamudra, hold the precious treasure of great bliss speech, the Bhagavan bodiless dakini, the Buddhas and dakinis said this." The Lord of Yoga, Tilopa, in order to inquire about the meaning in detail, again folded his hands in prayer. The bodiless wisdom dakini, completely explained the words and meanings of the nine dharmas: Untie the knot of the maturing liberation mind! etc. The meanings of the words were explained in detail with instructions. Tilopa wrote it down at that time. When he went to the human realm, the state of the illusory body,

In Dhola, the bodiless dakini secretly entered, entering the unspeakable iron, the bird of the clear light mind flies away. Having said this, he went to the monastery of the illusory crown jewel, and when he was doing deeds for beings, the heart-son accomplished ones earnestly requested the teachings heard from the dakini of Orgyen, but he did not grant them. He sealed the oral transmission instructions to the great scholar Naropa and gave them to him, and prophesied the place. He said that these nine dharmas were also directly heard from the dakini. He gave them to some heart-sons such as Naropa. Naropa gave them to some heart-sons such as Tipupa. The great scholar Naropa, according to the prophecy of Tilopa, sealed and gave them to the translator Marpa, and prophesied to Jetsun Mila, and gave and obtained four of the nine dharmas, namely, the lamp of awareness and wisdom, the wheel of the network of channels and winds, the jewel of great bliss speech, the mirror of equanimity of outer objects, and the self-liberation mahamudra. Since he did not obtain these, the translator Marpa said to Jetsun Mila, "Enjoy them," and gave his permission. Jetsun was satisfied with the practice and did not go to India. To request the nine dharmas, Rechungpa was sent. Rechungpa also requested the complete nine dharmas from Tipu Secret Mantra Tree and invited them to Tibet. As a part of the oral transmission, there was no instruction of these nine dharmas that was not given. There were also some who gave only these without giving the oral transmission. Rechungpa gave the oral transmission and everything to Khyunchungpa. Khyunchungpa also gave both as above, and there were two situations, giving only these. Among them, he gave both to the three heart-son accomplished ones. Since Zhang Lotsawa asked these three, and thought that he was very familiar with the nine Mar Som dharmas, he earnestly requested and proofread and gave them. Since then, between my father, the unequaled Shavaripa the Great, and me, as a part of the oral transmission, there was no transmission of these nine dharmas that was not given.
