The secret introduction to the Great Seal of Wisdom Illumination, the key instruction. Ngamdzong Tönpa Jangchub Gyalpo. The secret introduction to the Great Seal of Wisdom Illumination. Ngamdzong Tönpa Jangchub Gyalpo. From the Ngamdzong Oral Transmission lineage. The secret introduction to the Great Seal of Wisdom Illumination is complete. From the Zurmang Oral Transmission. Namo Ratna Guru. The secret introduction to the Great Seal of Wisdom Illumination, called the Reality of the Dharmakaya. It has three aspects: identifying the reality of the Nirmanakaya through meditation, the activity of the Sambhogakaya as the meditator, and establishing the meaning of the Great Seal, the essence of wisdom arising from this meditation. There are three places: the best is a blessed practice place, where obstacles do not arise and realization quickly dawns. The intermediate is a mountain hermitage where dakinis gather, such as Tsari, where accomplishments are swift and weariness of samsara arises. The lowest is a secluded place with complete favorable conditions, where there is little traffic of people and the eight worldly concerns do not arise. Secondly, the activity of the Sambhogakaya has three aspects: firstly, the body is in a state of non-action. Secondly, worldly activities should be abandoned, and attachment to this life should be renounced. Speech should remain in a state of non-speaking, abandoning all embellishments with prophetic words, such as pleasant and unpleasant things of this life. The mind should remain in a state of non-thought, abandoning all conceptualizations such as existence and non-existence, right and wrong, truth and falsehood, ultimate and conventional, and remaining in a state of not thinking about anything. Thirdly, establishing the Great Seal has four aspects: recognizing unfabricated wisdom, placing the mind in the state of co-emergence, blending all phenomena into one taste, and the way the result manifests like the sky. Firstly, recognizing unfabricated wisdom has three aspects: recognizing non-duality wisdom, showing the release of the knots of samsara, and filling the lamp of the Great Union. Recognizing non-duality wisdom has three aspects: firstly, recognizing the wisdom of the body's appearance as emptiness: when something called the body is established, the nature of that thing is emptiness.

From the very moment of appearing as the body through spontaneous accomplishment, it is emptiness in which nothing whatsoever is established as its own nature. In the very nature of reality, there is no such thing as a body, just like a rainbow. If you think that because it appears and exists as a body, it is established as a real entity with characteristics, then know that this appearance of the body as emptiness is also an appearance due to conditions. From the very moment of appearing as a body, since its own nature is not established anywhere, it is said that the wisdom of the appearance of the body as emptiness has existed primordially. The wisdom of the emptiness of speech and sound is that as soon as any sound whatsoever resounds clearly, the emptiness of the nature of that sound, the object of dharma, is spontaneously accomplished. From the moment the sound resounds, it is emptiness in which nothing whatsoever is established as its own nature. Therefore, apart from the very nature of reality, there is no such thing as sound established as a real entity, just like an echo. If you think that there is a real entity and characteristic that exists as the sound resounds, then know that the resounding is an appearance due to conditions. From the very moment the sound resounds, since it is not established anywhere, it is said that the wisdom of the emptiness of speech and sound has existed primordially, and that the appearance and resounding due to conditions are unborn. The wisdom of the bliss-emptiness of mind is that as soon as something is established as mind, the wisdom of the bliss-emptiness of the nature of that mind, the object of dharma, is spontaneously accomplished. From the very moment that a clear and distinct awareness arises as mind, it is bliss-emptiness in which nothing whatsoever is established as its own nature. Therefore, apart from the very nature of reality, there is no such thing as mind established as a real entity, just like space. If you think that this mind has various thoughts and concepts swirling within it, is it established as a real entity with characteristics? It is merely conceptual thought, an appearance due to conditions. From the very moment of appearing as a thought, it is bliss, free from the suffering and pain. Therefore, it is said that the wisdom of the bliss-emptiness of mind has existed primordially. When an object arises due to conditions, and a subtle consciousness of grasping at it arises, this is called conceptual thought. Whatever thought arises, whether subtle or coarse, is unborn, the very nature of non-arising. There are three knots of samsara that are loosened. By knowing the basis of ethics, the knot of the body is loosened. By the precious vows, one takes the essence of the body.
