placed on the crown of the head. By the blessing of the inseparable body, to protect the doctrine and the four assemblies, and to subdue the wicked, I hold this form of the Great Black One. Oṃ Mahākālāya (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལཱ་ཡ།, Devanagari: ॐ महाकालाय, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ mahākālāya, Literal meaning: Om, Great Black One), Kāya Samaya Dhāra Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཀཱ་ཡ་ས་མ་ཡ་དྷཱ་ར་ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: काय समय धार हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: kāya samaya dhāra hūṃ, Literal meaning: Body, Vow, Hold, Hūṃ). Thus, the permission of the body is obtained. All obstacles of physical sins, obscurations, diseases, and evil spirits are pacified. One has the authority to meditate on the body of the Great Vajra Black One. Secondly, for the sake of the permission of speech, having faith and respect for the teacher, the light rays from the heart of the teacher, from the heart of the front generation, the assembly of mantra garlands, and from the hearts of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, invite immeasurable vowels and consonants, which dissolve into your throats. The mantra board of the Protector, and the skull cup are placed in the left hand. By the blessing of inseparable speech, to accomplish various activities, and to please the Great Black One, hold the wisdom mantra of speech. Oṃ Mahākālāya (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལཱ་ཡ།, Devanagari: ॐ महाकालाय, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ mahākālāya, Literal meaning: Om, Great Black One), Vāka Samaya Dhāra Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཝཱ་ཀ་ས་མ་ཡ་དྷཱ་ར་ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: वाक समय धार हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: vāk samaya dhāra hūṃ, Literal meaning: Speech, Vow, Hold, Hūṃ). Then, with the intention of receiving the transmission of recitation, visualize as follows. Having faith and respect for the teacher, light rays emanate from the heart. In the heart of the front generation, on top of the solar mandala, the dark blue-black Hūṃ syllable is surrounded by a garland of mantras, from which a second mantra garland emanates. It comes out of the mouth and enters your mouths. In your heart, believe that it dwells on the sun above the Hūṃ syllable, and recite this mantra after me. From the essence of the heart, have each person recite the mantra three times. Believe that you are offering a flower garland to the teacher, and repeat this after me. Blessed One, since I have taken it, please initiate me. Three times. Then, believe that it is blessed with a mantra garland and tied to the crown of your head. Blessed One, since this is given, please initiate this one. May all the power of the wisdom mantra of the speech of the Great Vajra Black One enter and be firm in the minds of these Vajra disciples. Thus, the permission of speech is obtained. All obstacles of speech, sins, obscurations, diseases, and evil spirits are pacified. One has the authority to recite the secret mantra of the Great Vajra Black One. Thirdly, for the sake of the permission of mind, having faith and respect for the teacher, the teacher's

With the light from your heart, invite countless hand implements such as curved knives and skull cups from the hearts of the front-generation protectors and Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and accomplish the benefit of sentient beings with the four activities. Recite "dissolving into the heart" and play music. Holding the curved knife in the right hand, bless with inseparable mind, according to the teachings of the victorious guru, with the compassionate and wrathful activities, subdue the untamed sentient beings. Om, Great Black One). By this, obtain the subsequent permission of the mind, pacify all the sins, obscurations, diseases, and obstacles of the mind. One has the power to meditate on the clear light of the heart of the Great Black Vajra. Regarding the command of the final Torma offering: Visualize this Torma as actually appearing as the Great Black Vajra couple and retinue, and the master recites the names of the lineage masters, and just by the command of Samaya, promise to accomplish the activities that are commanded without hesitation. Place the Torma on the head, the all-pervading Vajradhara, the Brahmin Supreme Love, Rahula, Jowo Je Atisha, Dromton Gyalwai Jungne, Chennga Tsultrim Bar, Ja Yulwa, Mus Menpa, Droton Dudtsi Drak, Zhington Chojung, from Sangye Gompa onwards, the root and lineage complete with the glorious and holy lamas, without transgressing the teachings and vows, protect the vows, promote the Dharma, praise the qualities of the Three Jewels. In particular, accompany the disciple named so-and-so like a body and its shadow, and pray to protect, save, and conceal their body, speech, and mind. So on and so forth, act in accordance with the general and detailed commands. From the hook-like part of the Torma, take a little with the tip of the Vajra, mix it with Kapala nectar, and give a little to the disciple. Also sprinkle a little nectar on the Torma, and recite: Great Black One, as the protector of this disciple, please eat the offered food and accomplish the entrusted task. Recite thus. By this, the subsequent permission of the special protector of the Kadampa teachings, the Four-in-One Black Cloak Vajra, transmitted from the glorious Marme Dze, is accomplished, therefore protect the common and special vows of the Vajrayana.
