The Fourth Volume of Instructions Treasury. The View Instruction of Great Other-Emptiness Madhyamaka: Stainless Diamond Moon's Rays. The View Instruction of Great Other-Emptiness Madhyamaka: Stainless Diamond Moon's Rays is complete. The ultimate, irreversible Dharma, those who teach and uphold the teachings, placing them in the heart's essence, here, I will write a concise view instruction on Madhyamaka. In that, there are three aspects: the source from which it came, the actual view instruction, and the explanation of benefits. The first also has two aspects: general and specific. In general, if there were deception or untruth in the words of the Buddhas, then the provisional and definitive meanings would not have been established. However, based on the difference in the intelligence of individuals who can and cannot enter the realm of the inconceivable, in the manner of feeding food to a child, the first turning of the wheel of Dharma by the Buddha will definitely liberate from samsara, the intermediate turning reverses the clinging to names, and the final turning clearly distinguishes the existence and non-existence, the is and is not of the nature of reality. Therefore, the first turning is provisional, the intermediate turning is mixed with provisional and definitive, and the final turning is definitively supreme. It is established by scriptures such as the Samdhinirmocana Sutra, etc. Not only can one not surpass the establishment of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, but also the profound meaning is gradually clarified and completely perfected, and it is also established by direct perception. However, the intermediate turning explains the conventional appearance of non-existence as non-existence, and the final turning explains the ultimate emptiness of existence as existence. Therefore, the intermediate and final turnings, and the two great chariots who pioneered them, such as Shantipa, also consider them to be the same landing point of intention. Among them, the final turning of the wheel relies on the twenty essential sutras of definitive meaning, the five treatises of Maitreya, and the treatises of the father and son Nagarjuna and Asanga. From the translators Gzu Tsan brothers onwards until now, various traditions of teaching and practice of Other-Emptiness Madhyamaka have also arisen in this land of Tibet. Among them, the great pioneers of the chariot are: Omniscient Rangjung Dorje (the Third Karmapa, 1284-1339), All-Knowing Dolpopa (1292-1361), and All-Knowing Drime Ozer (Vimalamitra, 1266-1343). The Seventh Karmapa, Zilong Panchen, Taranatha, Tenpai Nyinje, etc., will surely reside in the position of the noble ones, and are spiritual friends of the complete teachings who do not fall to one side.

Those with eyes also establish it through the three: listening, contemplation, and meditation, and all their scriptures serve as the foundation for this. Moreover, the ultimate intention of the noble beings who see reality without distortion through the union of listening, contemplation, and meditation must converge on this alone. In particular, the profound view instruction was skillfully expounded by Maitripa, the master of the meaning of the Uttaratantra, and transmitted through Kachen Rinchen Dorje of U (Central Tibet), and Kache Sajjana, etc. This is the common method of view instruction, and it was bestowed upon Jetsun Lhodrakpa through the path of empowerment that transfers blessings. This is the uncommon Mahamudra of the union of Sutra and Tantra, renowned throughout the Kagyu lineage, and the former of these two is what will be explained here. Secondly, within the actual view instruction, there are the respective methods of Sutra, and how they relate to the profound methods of Tantra. The first also has two aspects: what is to be understood, and how to practice it. The first is: believing that cause and effect are infallible is said to be the correct view of the world, and upon this foundation, to transcend the three realms, one must rely on a profound view that is not distorted. Among these, the Hearers meditate on the selflessness of the person, the Solitary Realizers meditate on the unreality of what is grasped, the Yogacharas meditate on the knowledge of the two emptinesses, and the common Madhyamikas meditate on the fact that all phenomena are empty of their own essence. Although they experience it through meditating on these meanings, they are entangled by the three: mind, consciousness, and distorted views, and because they have not definitively realized non-dual wisdom, they are far from the Buddhas. So, who experiences non-dual wisdom? It is seen by the wisdom of the noble ones who possess the characteristics, and by ordinary individuals who are in accordance with it, who have trained their minds through the uncommon listening, contemplation, and meditation. The latter also has two aspects: those who speak of no self-nature believe that all phenomena from form to omniscient wisdom are like a rabbit's horn and a barren woman's child, and that there is nothing to be pointed out in reality, and that emptiness is not established anywhere. However, what appears as interdependent and unceasing is decided by the five great Madhyamika reasonings. At the time of the main practice, just as the kindling wood and the fire-making tool are both burned by the fire, and eventually the fire itself disappears, the clinging to conceptual thoughts
