Filled with one excellent precious horse, as well as gold, silver, pearls, coral, and lapis lazuli, it was offered to the lama. In the palace of Dharma in India, with vast conduct for beings, with impartial compassion, have you acted as protector, refuge, and ally? Is the wise one of pure lineage? Have you been cared for by many lamas? Have you been upheld by many wise ones? It is excellent that you have come to this place today! It is heard that you have come from the ocean, the lord of beings, like thirteen moons. It is very amazing that you have practiced austerities! It is heard that you have subdued Black Powerful One. Act in accordance with the Dharma. After saying this, I requested thus: Yes, I come from the center of India. I come having obstacles separate from the Dharma. By the compassion of the Jewels, auspiciousness was born. Black Powerful One was defeated by karma. The three doors were victorious over the black side. Without deterioration, I arrived in happiness. Without diminishing from the benefit of beings, is the Victorious One abiding clearly? Are you abiding, opening up the ocean of scriptures and reasoning, and possessing radiance? After saying this, all the monks from the local area and abroad came to the Joyful Garden. There, an elderly elder was teaching the Dharma to some monks, and I prostrated to him, but that elder did not return the greeting. After that, I entered the Guru's chamber, the Silver Umbrella Palace, and sat on the cushion. That elder also finished teaching the Dharma and came to me, greeted me in a way that was in accordance with the Dharma, and said to me: A virtuous person has come here, but there was no welcome. However, without arrogance, whatever a virtuous person likes, I think is doing Dharma work. Hearing these words, I was also very happy, thinking, it is so amazing to highly praise the Dharma and people! After that, the local area arrived safely, and the Guru explained in detail the Ornament for Clear Realization, which is a detailed explanation of the Dharma on the greatness of dependent origination, in about fifteen lessons, and gave it to me very well. After that, I lived in the Silver Umbrella Palace, spending my time with listening, thinking, and meditating. All of this is the history of Jowo (Venerable One) going to Serling (Golden Island), and meeting the Protector of Beings, the Unequaled Serlingpa Chokyi Drakpa (Dharmapala), living in harmony. Extremely good, the glory of a sea of wonders! May you bless everyone to achieve Bodhicitta! The royal family is proficient in the five sciences, and Tara prophesied that he would come to the auspicious land of Tibet. Proficient in cherishing others more than oneself, and performing deeds for the benefit of others. I pray to the incomparable Atisha! Please bless me right now! Please immediately eliminate the suffering of beings! Please guide all beings onto the path of enlightenment! Please grant the source of all benefit and happiness!
