Expanding in various ways, through instantaneous self-liberation and self-merging, after practicing for many days, special realization will arise in the continuum. These are the ultimate key points. Thus, the walking yogi gains fearlessness towards birth and death, because awareness liberates in its own place. Therefore, in this very life, he directly sees the supreme and common qualities. If these meanings were explained in detail, it would be endless, so here it is shown in brief. The teachings on liberation in this life are finished. Second, the teachings on the plan of the bardo of luminosity. Previously, through habituating the key point of instantaneous self-liberation in the bardo of birth and death, even in the bardo of dreams, the yogi who has the state of ungrasping, naturally liberated, spontaneously arising, at the time of death: earth dissolves into water, the body's strength diminishes; water dissolves into fire, the liquid elements dry up; fire dissolves into wind, heat contracts from the edges; wind dissolves into consciousness, breath ceases to flow; form dissolves into sound, the eyes do not see forms; sound dissolves into smell, the ears do not hear sounds; smell dissolves into taste, the nose does not smell odors; taste dissolves into touch, the tongue does not taste flavors; touch dissolves into phenomena, the body does not feel tactile sensations; phenomena dissolve into mind, the grasping and coarse conceptual thoughts cease, similar to unconscious fainting; the eight aggregates of consciousness dissolve into the alaya consciousness. In a moment of meditation, liberating into the bodies of the five families, reaching the ultimate primordial ground, which is reaching the realization of the five wisdoms and the great perfection. That is, when recognizing the blue light as the wisdom of the dharmadhatu, in a moment of resting spontaneously in non-grasping, self-awareness liberates into the body of Vairocana. Similarly, white is the mirror-like wisdom, which is Akshobhya; yellow is the wisdom of equality, which is Ratnasambhava; red is the discriminating wisdom, which is Amitabha; green is the accomplishing wisdom, which is Amoghasiddhi, becoming enlightened in the body, and benefiting beings through emanations, manifesting enlightenment in the primordial ground. That is, previously, when habituating the key point of instantaneous self-liberation, from the state of self-arising and self-knowing, recognizing that the effortless, blissful, clear, non-conceptual wisdom naturally exists, therefore merging with the luminosity of the bardo, becoming instantaneous self-liberation, and so on.

Oh! Furthermore, since the essence of awareness is emptiness, it does not abide anywhere; since its nature is luminosity, appearances are uninterrupted; since its characteristics are diverse, whatever appears is liberated into non-attachment, and abiding in this state is the Three-fold Possession. Thereafter, the Emanation Body accomplishing the welfare of beings is the Perfect Possession. Thereafter, the Enjoyment Body dissolving into the Dharma Body, firmly establishing itself in the state of unchanging Dharma-nature, the Dharma Body abiding as the Great Perfection of Spontaneous Fulfillment is the Great Perfection of Perfect Possession. These are the instructions for the intermediate to be liberated in the Bardo. Incidentally, the way the lowest continues the momentum of karma in the Bardo of Existence is: if the clear light of the Bardo is not grasped, then from the appearance of the first half of the duration that the mental body of the Bardo abides, when the appearance of the second half arises, since all things are complete, by the magical power of karma, one goes wherever one thinks. Except for the Buddha's sacred places and Vajrasana, everything is completely transparent, like the appearance of a dream, and many appearances of happiness and suffering will arise. There is no certainty of duration; some quickly take rebirth, while others remain for forty-nine days, etc. At that time, if one realizes that one is dying, suffering will arise again. At that time, remembering the previous instructions, one should diligently practice in the great state of non-attachment to appearances and mind, and by praying to the Lama, one can also be liberated. At that time, one should keep in mind the pure realms, know that the appearances of the Bardo are unreal, and cherish faith, reverence, and mindfulness above all else. Some are said to be born in pure realms at that time and become Buddhas. The best practice is to meditate on unreality; the intermediate practice is to purify and perfect the generation and completion stages, which are like illusions; the lowest practice is to close the womb entrance, and all three should be practiced. The instruction for closing the womb entrance is: gods see gardens and palaces, demi-gods see wheels of light, humans see mansions and many white monasteries, animals see caves and crevices, hungry ghosts see ravines, broken holes, and unclean places, hell beings see darkness, rain, and so on. Therefore, one should abandon attachment and aversion to these places of birth. In the womb of a particularly excellent god or human, one should imagine oneself in a divine palace. In one's mind, one should contemplate letters such as "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: 吽), with self-awareness entering into it, thinking that in the next life one will encounter the true Dharma and attain supreme accomplishment. Just by contemplating oneself as a deity, one will be born with the body of a goddess, endowed with a particularly favorable leisure and fortune, and will encounter a Lama, a virtuous spiritual friend.
