Everything is surrounded by five lights, Everything is originally of the five families, It is a symbol of abiding in one's own nature. Such a nature is like a vase, It inherently exists in all beings. The boundless light of one's own mind, Is the state of mind itself, the primordially pure Dharmakaya, The self-nature of luminous clarity, the Rupakaya, arises. Therefore, there are five bodies and five wisdoms, One's own radiance manifests as five colors. Therefore, the Dharmakaya and Rupakaya are two, Because they are complete from the ground, because they are appearance and emptiness, The ground is also shown by the symbol of the vase. The path is also two: primordially pure and spontaneously accomplished, Because they abide, their powers are also two, The moving mind and the body of the four elements, Together with the substantial objects. In order to train these two powers, There are two practices: Trekchö and Tögal. Trekchö, Through resting and spontaneous liberation, Arising from the power of emptiness, The moving awareness is brought to the point of exhaustion. Tögal, self-light arises in the expanse, By striking the nail of unchanging equanimity, The substantiality of body and objects subsides, Liberating into the self-luminous primordial five lights, One is liberated at the point of exhaustion. Therefore, Trekchö and Tögal are two, Appearance and emptiness, Dharmakaya and Rupakaya are two, In order to practice, the path itself is, Made by the symbol of the vase. The fruit is also two: primordially pure and spontaneously accomplished, That is also in the state of liberation at the point of exhaustion, The basis of awareness, the original beginning itself, Together with the radiance of the five self-lights, Is spontaneously accomplished in the manner of the five families. Its essence, from the mere appearance, Abides in the great inexpressible primordial purity. That is also the self-knowing Ogmin abode, Nowhere in the ten directions, without center or edge, In the pure realm of empty space awareness, The mind appears as light, light spheres, And the complete manner of the main retinue. The spontaneously vast heart essence, the king's realm, Is the pure, dense array. The victorious ocean of that realm is also, Non-speaking, non-moving, free from elaboration, By the blessing, spontaneously arising, The teachings, secret conduct, are also, Naturally appearing in the ten directions by themselves. Thus, the great body, speech, and mind, From the state of self-nature, spontaneously complete, Wherever there are worlds to be tamed, Emanations appear wherever they are to be tamed, The benefit of beings is spontaneously accomplished. The essence of all that is inexpressible is, The Dharmakaya, self-nature, Rupakaya, The emanations arising from that compassion, Are thus and thus, The fruit is also two: Dharmakaya and Rupakaya, Vase
