Your union, in the state of being coarse and separate, although momentarily mixed, is still bound by coarseness when not returned to its natural state. It is merely the difference between being separated and not separated, and is not the individual awareness itself. The gate of wisdom is the clear and lucid awareness, like the meeting of mother and child. The essential instruction for practice is: If you do not practice in the natural state of the Dharmadhatu now, you will not be liberated into the primordial ground after death. If you are not liberated in the ground Dharmadhatu, then like meditation infested with worms, there will never be a time to be liberated from the gods of the higher realms. Therefore, now, at the time of death, cherish the practice of momentarily abiding in the samadhi of your own nature in the inner Dharmadhatu. If you do not know the true meditation of self-nature in the naturally pure self-nature now, even if your practice is stable, you will not be able to be liberated like the gods of meditation, but will instead be bound again, grasping the birth of the higher realms. As the Oral Transmission Tikka says: "Although you know how to practice, you do not know liberation. How is it different from the gods of meditation?" Therefore, in the empty and clear inner Dharmadhatu, when awareness abides in its own place, at the moment of abandoning the body, it merges inseparably with the spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya jewel, and the two form bodies spontaneously accomplish the benefit of sentient beings. This is taken from the meaning of the uncreated wind-riding. When the last breath, the Ha breath, goes out and the Hu breath does not come in and is cut off, the inner clarity of awareness is separated from the wind. Without the appearance of habitual mind, the Dharmakaya's empty and clear state like the sky dawns. Recognizing this state, one can attain enlightenment in an instant in the upward crossing of emptiness. As Self-Liberation says: "For example, the great Garuda, king of birds, even while in the womb, subdues the Nagas. In the egg, its wings have reached their full size. When it breaks free from the eggshell, the external bonds are also severed. How can other birds know where happiness lies? Only the great Garuda knows, it is happy in the sky. There is liberation without knowing or not knowing, there is equality without this life or the next, in the nature of equality, the continuum is uninterrupted. This is the aspiration for liberation from the nine vehicles. For those who want to practice diligently, abandon, and transform, what is happiness? Only the Great Vehicle is happy. All happiness is the realm of the Great Bliss Dharmakaya. In the realm of the Dharmakaya, there is no one who is not liberated. The Vajra Essence Body of the self-arisen Dharmata, the habitual body perfects the power of the essence. Without birth, death, or bardo, abandoning the body, awareness alone is inseparable from all, vast."

Emanations arise without interruption, and they enter into everything without obstruction. This is the realm of practice for yogis who ride the wind of non-action. It is not suitable for all inferior vehicles. Ati Yoga reveals the key point of the fruition. Thus it is said. Just as those of the dragon lineage, though bound by eggshells, can still overpower their own kind, and with the strength of fully developed wings, they have the ability to fly into the sky, so too, yogis, having entered the king of vehicles, can overpower the eight vehicles. With realization, they sever the precipice of samsara and thus have the ability to walk in the sky of dharmata. Just as flying comes from being free from the eggshell, Buddhahood comes from being free from the bonds of the body. The summary of the meaning is: All dharmas are gathered back into spontaneously present awareness. Spontaneously present is gathered back into the great original purity. Original purity is gathered back into that which is beyond thought and expression. This is the definite gathering back of spontaneous presence. Since all dharmas arise from awareness in the beginning, they are also gathered back into the state of spontaneously present awareness in the end. Spontaneous presence is gathered back into the self-abiding dharmakaya within original purity. Original purity, being without limit, is gathered back into the great place of liberation that is beyond thought and expression. As it says in the Garland of Pearls: "What is the first liberation?" And in Self-Liberation of Signs: "There is no separation, liberated in the realm of spontaneous presence; there is no gathering or scattering, liberated in the realm of bindus." Thus it is said. Dharmas are the spontaneously present realm of bodhichitta, the primordial essence of self-arising and self-liberation from the very beginning, the meaning of the heart essence of a single bindu. This precious commentary that opens the third place is explained. May the white-sided gods and oath-bound protectors, the faith of the vidyadharas who continue the vajra lineage, the dakini ocean, the gods who have attained supreme accomplishment, and the assemblies of glorious protector lamas be pleased. From The Treasury of the Precious State of Being: The definitive establishment that all dharmas are spontaneously accomplished from the very beginning, this is the explanation of the third place of vajra. The Third Place. The explanation of the definitive establishment that all dharmas are spontaneously accomplished from the very beginning.
