The Second Section: An Explanation Establishing All Dharmas in the Great Unobstructed Equality. The Second Section: An Explanation Establishing All Dharmas in the Great Unobstructed Equality. Now, the second vajra topic is the certainty of the nature of equality, which teaches that all dharmas are without limit or bias. This has four aspects: unlocking the key points, gathering the essential points, binding the pledges, and familiarizing oneself with the practice. First, the summary of the first aspect is: Having thoroughly understood the state of non-existence, establishing the nature of equality is the teaching of Ati Yoga, the pinnacle of all vehicles. Like the sky, it is without beginning or end. The greatest of the great is the vast mind of Kuntuzangpo, the nature of unobstructed, great equality. Awareness is empty and clear, without beginning or end. This is the Dharmakaya of unobstructed equality, Ati Yoga, the vast mind of Kuntuzangpo, which, like the sky, is without limit or bias, and is called the great inexpressible transcendence of mind. As it says in the Sixth Space: "The nature of mind, which is inexpressible, the appearance of words free from the four limits, transcends speech and thought. Kuntuzangpo has taught this." Also, in the Self-Liberation of Signs: "The teaching of Ati Yoga, the pinnacle of all vehicles, like the king of mountains, is the peak of all. The greatest of the great is the vast mind of Kuntuzangpo, which, through its own power, subdues the splendor of the eight vehicles. Likewise, awareness is the space of equal self-power. In the great space, realization and non-realization, liberation and non-liberation, are non-dual and greatly equal." The nature of equality is taught as follows: The dharmas of appearance and existence, and the non-appearance of bodhichitta, are as they are, without moving from freedom from elaboration. In that, there is no beginning or end to be found, and it is free from thought. The nature of equality abides in the great unobstructedness. All dharmas, from their own appearance, are without limit or bias in their essence, so the ground is equality. Because there is no mental focus, thought, or grasping, the path is equality. Because there is no hope, fear, or change, the result is equality. Because appearance does not move from awareness, the dimension is equality. The essence of awareness, bodhichitta, is also vast, liberated, and equal. The nature of unobstructedness, which has always been present, is called the unchanging nature of reality. As it says in the Subjugation of the Six Assemblies: "Controlling all vehicles of samsara and nirvana, the one without action subdues all. There is no other place outside the limit. The space of the one without action has never moved. The actionless Kuntuzangpo."

Within the expanse of 。 Thus it is said. The instruction on how grasping and fixation are impartially clear like the sky is as follows: From the very moment phenomena appear, they are impartially vast because they lack direction, parts, and substance. Likewise, since self-awareness has no before or after, it is impartially vast like the sky itself. The past has ceased, the future has not yet arisen, and the present does not abide. In the state of bodhichitta, it transcends the realm of objects that represent the basis, root, and entity. Its nature is utterly vast, the center of the sky is vast. Object, mind, and the basis of these two, awareness—these three are impartially vast. All phenomena are the empty essence, without atoms or parts, so they lack direction and substance. They are pure in the three times, so their essence is impartially vast. Since appearance is unceasing, it is immeasurable and inconceivable, so it is impartially vast. Whatever arises in the mind is momentarily indivisible, and its own emptiness is also impartially vast. Since it is unceasing, it appears as various plays, so it is impartially vast. Awareness is empty and clear, without beginning or end, so it is impartially vast. The single sphere, the source of all, is uninterrupted, so it is impartially vast. This is the primordial Buddha. The self-nature of pure grasping and fixation is that objects and mind appear as self-clear and self-luminous. All phenomena are empty forms, all minds are self-arisen, and they do not go beyond the self-arisen wisdom of empty awareness. In the Kunsel it says: "Showing the meaning of seeing without seeing. With the view of non-attachment. Because of the unobstructed wisdom of non-entity. Self-aware wisdom is spontaneously accomplished. Since there is nothing else apart from that. From individual self-aware wisdom. Everywhere is the sound of great wisdom. Primordially, the Bhagavan Vajradhara. Therefore, from the ground up, perfect Buddhahood. Without objects, grasping and fixation are completely pure. Self-awareness abides in its own sound. In the sky of self-nature purity. The sky of the meaning of dharmata pervades. In the sky of the meaning of dharmata. The sun of self-aware wisdom rises. Impartial, clear to all." Thus it is said. The instruction on how action and effort are impartially vast is as follows: In the essence of meaning, which is impartial, there is no view, empowerment, mandala, recitation, or repetition. Since there is no object of focus for the practice of the stages, paths, and vows, it is impartially vast in the great expanse of groundlessness. Dharmata becomes manifest as bodhichitta. In the essence of awareness, there is no view, empowerment, mandala, mantra, stages, paths, or vows. Therefore, all the words and actions that explain them are meaningless, and they are impartially vast because they transcend benefit and harm in the meaning of pure non-action.
