It is because of many wishes. Among these, the time for practicing discipline has passed, and now it is time to learn the practice of the mind. How many years have passed since then? From the Nirvana of the Buddha, to the Fire Male Horse year, three thousand five hundred and sixteen years have passed. In the future, there will be nine hundred and eighty-four years. If we consider that three thousand five hundred and thirty-two years have passed, then there are still nine hundred and sixty-eight years left. Merely holding onto outward signs is not considered the Dharma. Also, the teacher, the Bhagavan, entered the womb in the Fire Female Hare year, was born in the Earth Male Dragon year, attained Buddhahood in the Water Male Tiger year, and passed into Nirvana in the Fire Female Pig year. In the Wood Female Bird year, one hundred and seventy-seven years later, King Delight-Maker (name of king) came to India. Eight hundred years later, in the Wood Male Dragon year, King Moon-Protector (977) arrived. From then on, after two hundred and thirty-one years, in the Wood Male Horse year, the king and subjects calculated and said that one thousand two hundred and eight years had passed since the Nirvana of the Buddha. After that, seven hundred and twenty-four years (1932) were calculated in Nepal. After that, eight hundred and fourteen (2746) years later, in the Iron Male Monkey year, the Nepalese King Rays-of-Light Armor arrived, and after two hundred and forty-five years (2991), in the Fire Female Ox year, the Tibetan King Trisong Detsen arrived. After that, after one hundred and thirty-four years (3125), in the Iron Male Tiger year, King Patron-Gatherer assembled in Upper Ngari. After that, after twenty-seven years, in the Fire Male Dragon year, in the early summer, the virtuous friends of Upper and Lower regions gathered and calculated, saying that three thousand one hundred and fifty-two years had passed since the Nirvana of the Buddha. After that, fifty-six years later, the great translators Lotsawa Lodan Sherab, Drakjor Sherab, Nyima Sherab, and others arrived. Three thousand two hundred years, and calculating from then until the present Fire Male Horse year, three hundred and twenty-four years have passed, adding these (3532 to pass) to the previous ones, three thousand five hundred and more.

And sixteen have passed. Buram Shingpa Nyimagé, the teachings of the great sage, the past years are three thousand, five hundred and sixteen months have passed, and there are still nine hundred and eighty billion, great lineages exist. They hold the signs and attire of the incarnation body, study the three trainings, and the three pitakas as their expression, and maintain the practice of one hundred and one rituals without decline. From a common perspective, it is said in the "Golden Light Sutra": The Buddha will not completely pass into nirvana, and the Dharma will not decline. And it is said in the "Illusion Sutra": The Buddha will not completely pass into nirvana, and the Dharma will not decline, for the sake of taming those who ripen ignorance. And it is said in the "Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Sutra": The great assembly of all sentient beings, as long as it exists, the incarnation of the Buddha will not be cut off, and the Dharma of liberation will not decline. Even if there is no Shravaka's attire to hold the teachings, gods, nagas, and sages who can live for kalpas, and dakinis, etc., hold the sutras and tantras and show them to others, in accordance with the behavior and the wishes of beings, the incarnation of the Buddha appears to teach the Dharma and benefit beings. Humans, nagas, asuras, etc., transform into the images of various beings, indicating the path of peace, and this inexhaustible Dharma will appear until samsara is empty. Therefore, the teachings of the Mahayana are considered to be constant and continuous wheel of Dharma. Even if one word or one letter disappears, others will newly appear, thereby manifesting. Because they have the compassion that does not forget to benefit sentient beings and the spontaneously accomplished activity. As it is said in the "Hundred Deeds Sutra": The waves in the ocean where aquatic creatures live may be overdue, but the Buddha will not be overdue for the disciples who need to be tamed. Therefore, even if an incarnation Buddha like the moon in the water passes away, the Sambhogakaya Buddha residing in Akanishta remains forever like the real moon. Therefore, whenever the inclination and the vessel of merit of sentient beings appear, there will be an incarnation corresponding to it, and by which vehicle to tame.

In the spontaneously accomplished Dharma, whether the beings to be tamed are one or a hundred, or however many there are with the same number and appearance from one continent to three thousand worlds, they appear without any order of precedence. Just as the image of the moon appears in as many water vessels as there are, without any order of precedence. These manifestations and Dharmas, although they appear to rise and fall in the perception of beings, in reality, they have no arising or ceasing, because they are like reflections or dreams. Those who understand these principles are called supreme beings. In the clear blue water, the images of stars are clear and beautiful. Although they appear, there is no arising, ceasing, or turbidity. Similarly, the mandala of the moon, which pervades everything, is constantly pervasive, unwavering, and beautiful in the Akaniṣṭha heaven. In the pure minds of beings, adorned with the habits of faith, virtue, perfection, and merit, this is determined by the power of beings. By the blessing of the noble Sangha, it arises from the actions of the Sugatas. The doctrine, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, pervades all of space, and the clouds of compassion remain for a long time. This is the concluding verse. From the 'Treasury of Tenets,' which clarifies the meaning of all vehicles, the second chapter, which explains the principles of the sacred Dharma of the teachings.
