And, because it collects the meaning of everything, it is the realm of bodily consciousness; because it holds inverted discriminations about things and accomplishes objects, it is the realm of eye-contact; because the ear holds and accomplishes scattering, it is the realm of ear-contact; because it collects all the upper knowledge and is captivated by others, it is the realm of nose-contact; because it follows and holds things and closely receives them, it is the realm of tongue-contact; because it collects all memories and enters all objects, it is the realm of mind-contact; because it holds many coarse things and the elements gather, it is the realm of body-contact. Therefore, those realms also hold objects. That is to say, it arises from the part that holds within delusion itself. Secondly, as the nature of the aggregates that are the basis, from the part that gathers and assembles like a heap into one, it is called aggregates. There are two types: aggregates with discrimination and aggregates without discrimination. The first is: the five aggregates of individual beings of the contaminated world, namely, the form aggregate that can be destroyed and broken, the feeling aggregate that can be experienced and craved, the perception aggregate that moves and enters objects, the formation aggregate that acts and has habits, and the consciousness aggregate that knows and acts as an object. The aggregates without discrimination are: the five aggregates of the noble ones who have transcended the world, each abiding in their own aspect of awareness, namely, the nature of calm abiding and insight, the aggregate of samadhi, the aggregate of wisdom that is liberated from their respective afflictions, the aggregate of wisdom that sees the nature of self and others, the aggregate of discipline that is completely purified from the side of defilements, and the aggregate of liberation that is liberated from elaboration and discrimination. These also, only from the aspect of abandoning the parts included in the path of learning and merely progressing upwards, are considered to be on the side of what should be abandoned. The qualities of the time of non-learning are not like that. In general, at the time of liberation, even the name "aggregate" does not exist, because it is said that one is completely liberated from the aggregates, so (the above) is one aspect.

It should also be known that there is no contradiction even if it is said that way. As it is said in the "Union of Sun and Moon Sutra": The aggregates are like this: there are aggregates defiled by conceptual thoughts, and aggregates of which all conceptual thoughts are empty in nature. The aggregates defiled by conceptual thoughts are like this: all things gather together and are established, so it is the aggregate of form; all feelings gather together, so it is the aggregate of feeling; the grasping of all faculties gather together, so it is the aggregate of perception; subtle afflictions gather together, so it is the aggregate of formation; all consciousnesses gather together, so it is the aggregate of consciousness. The non-conceptual aggregates are like this: all meditations gather together, so it is the aggregate of samadhi; awareness itself is the aggregate of liberation wisdom because of the exhaustion of outflows; the meaning of that itself appears as unborn, so it is the aggregate of wisdom; because all impurities manifestly purify, it is the aggregate of discipline; because it transcends all conceptual thoughts, it is the aggregate of liberation. Third, the difference of the various sources of arising is: that which arises and grows from something is called a source of arising. The divisions are: from the form of an object, the continuum outside of its own moment and the consciousness that grasps it both arise and grow, which are the objects grasped by the eye, such as form, etc., six types; from the form of consciousness, it arises outside of a moment and is born capable of growing into an object, which is the eye consciousness that knows form as form, etc., six types. Abiding in the twelve sources of arising is: again, that itself says: there are two sources of arising, namely the grasped source of arising and the grasper source of arising. That is, thinking of form as perception; thinking of sound as perception; thinking of smell as perception; thinking of taste as perception; thinking of dharma as perception; thinking of touch as perception; and the grasped part of the eye; the grasped part of the ear; the grasped part of the nose; the grasped part of the tongue; the grasped part of the mind; the grasped part of the body, totaling twelve. Fourth, the nature of the grasping faculty is: because it has the power to grasp objects, it is called a faculty. The divisions are those that arise from the initial part of the material and
