, "english_translation": "Thus, having shown the order of the fields to be tamed and the vessel and essence, now, regarding the differentiation of the categories such as the aggregates of dharmas that exist in the three vajra places, from the Tantra of Union of Sun and Moon: \"The elements, the aggregates, the sense bases, and the faculties, the objects and the object-possessors, and the consciousnesses, how they abide, determine it.\" The meaning of this is fivefold: the differentiation of the object-elements, the nature of the support aggregates, the distinction of the aspects of the sense bases, the essence of the apprehending faculties, and the aspects of the objects and object-possessors. First, it is called 'element' because of the meaning of being numerous and vast. Differentiated, there are two: that which is included by the external objects and that which is included by the internal mind. The first is the five elements: they cause and sustain the form, and are the cause, condition, support, and essence of destruction. That is, the characteristic of earth is solidity and cohesion, the characteristic of water is moisture and wetness, the characteristic of fire is heat and burning, the characteristic of wind is movement and lifting, and the characteristic of space is vastness and openness. These cause and hold the vessel and essence. From that very text: \"The elements included by the external objects are five: the earth element causes the basis of the body, therefore it is an element. The water element holds the name, therefore it is an element. The fire element ripens the objects, therefore it is an element. The wind element supports all the moving world, therefore it is an element. The space element holds the faculties, therefore it is an element.\" The elements included by the internal mind are the two appearances of vessel and essence. The vessel is that which appears as an object because of the accumulation of karma. Differentiated, there are two: that which arises from the delusion of the appearance of external objects and mind, and that which arises naturally from the expressive power of the internal mind. The first is the habitual tendencies of the appearance of objects and mind, like a dream. Differentiated, there are the desire realm's four continents and so forth, the form realm's five lights, self-luminous like a rainbow, and the formless realm's samadhi, self-emanated and invisible to others. From the Union of Sun and Moon: \"The elements included by the internal mind are two: the vessel element that gathers sentient beings, and the element that arises from the nature of mind itself.\"" } ] ============================================================ྣོད་ཀྱི་ཁམས་ནི། སེམས་ཅན་དྲན་པ་གཞི་ཆེ་བ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་ཁམས་དང་། དྲན་པ་ཡས་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་གཟུགས་མེད་པའི་ཁམས་དང་། དྲན་པ་གུད་དུ་འཛིན་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་འདོད་པའི་ཁམས་སོ་ཞེས་སོ། །གཉིས་པ་ནང་སེམས་སྣང་རྩལ་ལས་རང་བཞིན་དུ་ཤར་བ་ནི། རིག་པ་ཡོད་པས་དེ་ལ་སྒྲིབ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་རང་རྩལ་མ་རིག་པ་ཀུན་གཞི་དང་། དེ་ལ་བརྟེན་པ་ཀུན་གཞི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པའི་སེམས་དང་། ཡིད་དང་དབང་པོ་སྒོ་ལྔའི་ཤེས་པར་བྱུང་བ་ནི། གསེར་གྱི་ས་གཞིར་ཏ་ལའི་ལྗོན་ཤིང་ཆགས་ཏེ་ཡལ་ག་དང་མེ་ཏོག་དང་འདབ་མ་བྱུང་བ་བཞིན་ནོ། །འདི་ལ་དབྱེ་ན། ཡུལ་དང་། དབང་ཤེས། ཚོར་བ་གསུམ་ལས། ཡུལ་ནི་སྐབས་འདིར་ཤེས་པ་དྲུག་གི་སྔ་ལོགས་པའི་ཤེས་པ་ཙམ་པོ་ད་ལྟར་བའི་ཡུལ་དུ་བཏགས་པས་ན་དབང་རྟེན་དྲུག་གི་མིང་ནས་བརྗོད་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དབང་རྟེན་ཡང་མིག་ལ་སོགས་པའི་རྟེན་གྱི་སྒྲས་གོ་བར་བརྗོད་པས་ཤེས་པ་ལ་མིག་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ཁམས་སུ་བཏགས་པ་དྲུག་གོ། དབང་ཤེས་ནི། མིག་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ད་ལྟར་བའི་ཤེས་ པ་དྲུག་གོ། །ཚོར་བ་ནི། མ་འོངས་པའི་ཆ་སྟེ་རྣམ་པ་དྲུག་གོ། །ཡུལ་གང་ལ་རྣམ་ཤེས་འཇུག་ཀྱང་། སྔ་ལོགས་པའི་ཤེས་པ་དྲུག་གང་རུང་གི་རྒྱུན་ཡོད་པ་ནི་ཡུལ་ཞེས་བྱའོ། །དེ་ཉིད་སྐད་ཅིག་གིས་དེའི་རྣམ་པར་འཛིན་པ་ནི་ད་ལྟའི་ཤེས་པའོ། །དེའི་རྗེས་ལ་བདེ་སྡུག་བར་མ་གསུམ་གང་རུང་དུ་ཚོར་བ་ནི་འདུས་ཏེ་རེག་པའི་ཚོར་བ་ཞེས་བྱའོ། །དེའང་ཡུལ་དང་ཤེས་པ་འདུས་པ་ལས་དེའི་རྣམ་པར་ཚོར་བའི་ཕྱིར་རོ། །དེ་ལྟར་དྲུག་ཚན་གསུམ་ལ་རྣམ་གྲངས་བཅོ་བརྒྱད་དུ་དབྱེ་བ་ནི། དེ་ཉིད་ལས། སེམས་ཉིད་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ཁམས་ནི། ཤེས་པ་རང་གསལ་གྱི་ཆ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་མིག་གི་ཁམས་དང་། ཤེས་པ་རྩེ་གཅིག་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་རྣ་བའི་ཁམས་དང་། ཤེས་པ་མཐའ་ཡས་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་སྣའི་ཁམས་དང་། ཤེས་པ་རྣམས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུས་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ལྕེའི་ཁམས་དང་། ཤེས་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་འཇུག་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ཡིད་ཀྱི་ཁམས་དང་། ཤེས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་རྟེན་བྱེད་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཁམས་དང་། མིང་དང་ཁ་དོག་འཛིན་པས་ན་མིག་གི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པའི་ཁམས་དང་། གྲུབ་པའི་ལས་འཛིན་པར་བྱེད་པའི་རྣ་བའི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པའི་ཁམས་དང་། གཞན་རྗེས་སུ་འཛིན་པར་བྱེད་པའི་སྣའི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པའི་ཁམས་དང་། དངོས་པོ་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བར་བྱེད་པའི་ལྕེའི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པའི་ཁམས་དང་། དངོས་པོ་དང་དངོས་པོ་མེད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཁྱབ་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཡིད་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པའི་ཁམས

The realm of vessels is said to be the form realm arising from the great mindfulness of sentient beings, the formless realm arising from the increased mindfulness, and the desire realm arising from the separate grasping of mindfulness. Secondly, the natural arising of inner mind's luminosity is that because of having awareness, its obscuring self-power is the ignorance Alaya, and the mind of Alaya consciousness that relies on it, and the arising of mind and the five sense consciousnesses is like a tala tree growing on a golden ground, producing branches, flowers, and leaves. This can be divided into three: object, sense consciousness, and feeling. Object, in this case, is established as the preceding consciousness of the six consciousnesses, merely the present object, so it is spoken of by the name of the six faculties. The faculty is also understood by the word of the faculty such as the eye, so the six are established as the realms of the eye and so on in consciousness. Sense consciousness is the present consciousness of the eye and so on, the six. Feeling is the future part, that is, the six aspects. No matter what object the consciousness enters, if there is a stream of any of the six preceding consciousnesses, it is called an object. That which grasps its aspect in that instant is the present consciousness. After that, feeling any of the three, pleasure, pain, or indifference, is called the feeling of contact by combination. That is also because the object and consciousness combine, so it feels its aspect. Thus, the division of the three sets of six into eighteen categories is as follows: From that itself, the realm arising from the nature of mind is the eye realm arising from the self-illuminating part of consciousness, the ear realm arising from the one-pointedness of consciousness, the nose realm arising from the infinity of consciousness, the tongue realm arising from the gathering of all phenomena of consciousness, the mind realm arising from the all-pervading consciousness, the body realm arising from the basis of all phenomena of consciousness, and because it grasps name and color, it is the eye consciousness realm, because it grasps the accomplished action, it is the ear consciousness realm, because it grasps following others, it is the nose consciousness realm, because it experiences things, it is the tongue consciousness realm, and because it pervades all things and non-things, it is the mind consciousness realm.
