By clearly visualizing the deity, attachment to ordinariness is prevented. Although the essence of the dharmadhatu is not truly existent, because it is similar in form to it and is taken as an object, it is not deceptive in achieving such results, and there is a need to purify the defilements that obscure the enjoyment body. In the state of the generation stage, or after that, meditate on the nature of mind, the dharmata without object, and the perfection stage of the luminosity of mind. This is the intention of the definitive tantras. Beginners gradually gather and then meditate on the perfection stage, thereby preventing attachment to the illusory nature of the generation stage. Those who are perfect meditate on the perfection stage in the state of the generation stage, thereby preventing attachment to emptiness. Previously, the mind was clearly visualized as a deity, but here, meditating on the nature of mind as the perfection stage is to use the form body and the dharma body, appearance and emptiness, as the path. Those who do not know mistake the distraction and appearance of the mind for the perfection stage, which is wrong, because appearance and appearance are objects of phenomena. Perfection is to take emptiness and the nature of reality without characteristics as objects. When stability is attained and the union is inseparable, it remains in the same way.
