For the three types of inferior individuals, the teachings are the Vinaya, Sutra, and Abhidhamma. For the three types of intermediate individuals, the definite teachings are Kriya Yoga and Upa Yoga. For the three types of great individuals with sequential stages, the generation stage and completion stage are taught. Thus it is. Shantideva also said: Do not teach the supreme Dharma to the inferior. For those who have become vessels of the vast Dharma, do not apply the inferior Dharma. As it appears.

Especially for those of the Mahayana lineage, there are three ways of guiding: like a garuda descending from above, which is the effortless path; like a monkey climbing from below, which is the path of gradual stages with characteristics; and guiding from a middle path. Although it is said that for those with karmic connections, this can lead to liberation, for those with weak karmic connections or those who are uncertain, it can become a disease again. Therefore, the non-inverted method here is that no matter who it is, they should be guided step by step from the bottom up, entering from the union of skillful means and wisdom, the two accumulations like the two wheels of a chariot, connected to emptiness and great compassion. This path is extremely profound because it enters from the stages of the vehicles. The Garland of Precious Middle Way says: "Having the essence of emptiness and compassion, for some who practice enlightenment." The Play of Wisdom says: "The lord of emptiness and compassion, the path of glorious and excellent wealth, if yogis diligently practice, they will accomplish supreme and common siddhis." Why is that? Because by accumulating merit and wisdom, the stains that obscure the three kayas of the realms are removed, thereby manifesting the Dharmakaya and Rupakaya. With skillful means and great compassion, one turns back from the peace of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and does the work of benefiting sentient beings; by meditating on wisdom and emptiness, one is liberated from the side of existence. As it says in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "With wisdom, one does not abide in existence, with compassion, one does not abide in peace." Like that. Therefore, that path itself is the continuous increase of qualities, and one does not feel fear towards the meaning of higher Dharma, such as the unborn nature, without error or deviation, and it has the necessity of obtaining the union of view, meditation, conduct, and result. Therefore, gradual guidance is also mentioned in the Sutra of the Treasury of Jewels: "For example, when a baby is born, it gradually learns milk and so on, and later eats hard rice and so on, the more it eats, the more its strength increases. Similarly, my sons, should also gradually learn the three pitakas of discipline, sutras, and abhidharma, and then teach this instruction, and they will achieve unsurpassed enlightenment." The Nirvana Sutra says: "The moon moving in the sky gradually increases from the first to the fifteenth. Similarly, the path and qualities of the virtuous Dharma of the disciples who rely on a virtuous friend will gradually increase." The Essence of Earth Sutra says: "Among the three vehicles..."

Desiring the supreme Bodhi, those who are skilled in understanding the teachings of the three vehicles, should joyfully and enthusiastically explain them extensively to others, and be certain that they will become Buddhas, abandoning all doubts. Now, I instruct all of you present here: whoever quickly desires the supreme Bodhi should diligently practice the path of the ten virtuous actions. I will strictly guard against disparaging the Dharma. Thus it is said. From the *Extensive Illusion Sutra*. Possessing great compassion, one should be skilled in all paths of liberation. Possessing supreme wisdom, one should apply the vessels of sentient beings in order, and separately teach the true meaning of the higher and lower vehicles, so that each is suitable. Thus it is said. From the *Collected Intentions Sutra*. With immeasurable skillful means of harmonious entry, one acts for the benefit of beings. Thus it is said. From the *Tantra of Taking the Essence of Meaning*. The means of taming one's own mindstream as a preliminary practice: contemplate the difficulty of obtaining this support [of human life], the faults of impermanence and samsara, purification of sins, refuge, vows, etc. Having completed these, enter well into the order of the Hearers and other schools. Possessing compassion and wisdom, one should enter into this correct definitive meaning. By this, great benefit will be accomplished. Thus it is said. From the *Two Examinations Tantra*. First, one should perform the purification ceremony and give alms. Then, the ten objects of training. Likewise, one should also explain the Vaibhashika and Sutra schools, etc. Then, the Hevajra. Thus it is said. The fault of not knowing the order of entering the path gradually: The fault of not explaining in this way is immeasurable, because it is separated from the order of above and below, earlier and later. The general system and order of the teachings are lost, the small-minded are frightened and abandon the correct view, those who do not know the order do not understand the profound meaning, the conditioned virtues are despised, it becomes a cause for slander, the cause and effect are confused, one does not know what to accept and reject, and is ignorant of the meaning of knowledge. Abandoning the Mahayana mind of enlightenment and compassion. In any case, when a beginner enters the path in this way, ignorant people, without first learning gradually from the bottom up, immediately teach the definitive meaning all at once, the fault is very great and many defects arise. First of all, there is the fault of abandoning the general system of the Buddha's teachings. The small-minded become frightened and abandon the lama and the Dharma. There is the fault of not understanding the definitive meaning. Even if they understand, it is
