In summary, there are two types of destruction: the destruction of sentient beings, which appear as essence, and the destruction of the external world, which appears as the container.\nThe destruction of sentient beings takes nineteen intermediate eons, while the destruction of the container takes one intermediate eon. This is the beginning of the eon of destruction. If it is said that those who die by weapons, etc., when the lifespan is ten years, are born in hell, then wouldn't the cause and effect be reversed if they do not go to hell during destruction, or would they attain a change of state? It is not so. Those with the karma to go to hell will go to the hells of other realms, but they will not newly fall into this hell. Therefore, it is reasonable to begin with the fact that there are no new births in the hell realms.\nWhat is the order of destruction? At that time, those whose karma is exhausted will be born in higher realms, and those who have not exhausted the experience of hell will be transferred to other hells. Similarly, the pretas and animals are the same, and there will be no sentient beings in the three lower realms. If the hells and so on of those who have the karma to create causes are like that, then what will happen to the hell beings who are experiencing the results when the hells are destroyed? If the lifespan is not exhausted, even if they are killed, they will not die until the time or karma is exhausted.
