It arises. In that mixed garden, there is a pond called "Mixed," which produces a mixture of all desires. Precious trees, flowers, and celestial maidens are mixed together, so that enjoyment can be sought. In the north, there is a Joyful Garden filled with celestial maidens, accompanied by the thousand trees of the guides of the Fortunate Aeon, where the joy of enjoyment is further increased. In the Joyful Garden, there is a good pond called "Joy," adorned with trees, flowers, and the joy of celestial maidens. Enjoying oneself there further increases joy. In that garden, there are the sleeping couches of the thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon, within the precious tree groves. There are hundreds of billions of rays of light that the gods can endure to look at. On the walls, the life stories of the gods, their good and bad deeds, and the signs of whether they can be harmed or defeated in battle are clearly displayed like reflections in a mirror. The foundation of the pleasure garden: Those water surfaces are two hundred and fifty yojanas wide, with a beautiful shape, a golden fence of one yojana, and adorned with precious spires. The water surface is two hundred and fifty yojanas, the width is the same, and the circumference is one thousand yojanas. The shape is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. A golden fence of one yojana surrounds it, and the fence is adorned with spires of four kinds of jewels. The inner foundations of those are covered with golden sand. The Mandarava flowers cover up to the knees, and the bees make pleasant sounds, dancing there, and it is adorned with lakes and excellent ponds. The paths leading to them are also twenty yojanas wide in the water, and half as wide. Golden sand is spread, and sandalwood water is sprinkled. Along the banks, there are rows of trees adorned with flowers and fruits. The pleasure gardens, adorned with such beauty, are twenty yojanas outside. The good ground has four types in succession. The measure and arrangement are similar to gardens. Beyond the four gardens in the four directions, at a measured distance of twenty yojanas, there are four good grounds with names and arrangements similar to each garden, namely the ground called Variety, Mixture, Coarse Change, and Joy. The roads, measures, and arrangements are similar to the gardens, but in between, there are pleasant pavilions for walking and dwelling, where one can stay comfortably. On the roads leading to the gardens and grounds, there are various tamed mounts such as horses, elephants, and chariots. The wish-fulfilling tree enjoyed by the gods is in the northeast of that excellent city, called "All-Gathering Earth-Piercer," rising one hundred yojanas above the ground, with roots plunging five yojanas down, and branches in four directions, each flourishing for fifty yojanas. The core and tips are adorned like an umbrella with fifty yojanas. In the delightful northeast, it is the place where the gods gather, a tree that has pierced through the ground of Mount Meru, called "All-Gathering Earth-Piercer."
