With deeds that match, spreading to the extent of the sky, offering to the Lama who embodies all the Vidyadharas. Opening countless wonders and miracles, the activity of a thousand fierce powers flashes with brilliance. Possessing the power to bestow attainments upon practitioners, may the great lion, the wish-fulfilling jewel, bestow auspiciousness. The extent of his three secrets of body, speech, and mind, is only fully known by the supreme omniscient one. However, here, I will express, in an unadulterated and spontaneous manner, a few of the appearances of conceptual thought. In the past, at the beginning of this world, the emanation of the protector Amitabha, the second Guru Padmasambhava, with his compassion, caused the unchanging nature, the white aspect of the divine realm, to flourish, and made the names of all the black demon hordes cease to exist. The powerful lord of war gods, named Great Lion Norbu Dradul, well held his position, representing the land of Lingkar Tod, bringing auspiciousness to the world, manifesting new and wonderful feasts of joy, especially grand. In general, his activities are inconceivable. In particular, the ways in which the king of Ling's horses is established are very diverse, and here I will briefly describe them in a self-appearing manner. At one time, King Gesar of Ling and Minister Trothung competed in horse racing, each enjoying the pleasure as they wished. Yes. In the pure and immaculate palace, the boundless assembly of peaceful and wrathful deities! Please listen to my prayer with your great compassion. The self-arisen great lion Norbu Duldul (Gesar's epithet, meaning 'Jewel, Subduer of Enemies') expanded his mind from the distant past, and in order to eliminate the suffering of beings, he sought methods with countless efforts, benefiting beings in pure and impure realms, eliminating the great suffering of the six realms. Now again he has come to this Jambudvipa, subduing the demonic classes with nine difficult deeds, and accomplishing the goal with the gathering of the land. Therefore, for the increase of the white dharma, at the time of displaying their respective powers, in order to win the horse race, in order to inspire the lord Trothung, with clear words of truth, turning the mind towards competition. In the end, he elevated his skills and status, winning the defeat of others, being respected by many tribes, completely ruling the vast land, benefiting the Dharma and beings, and in order to suppress the black demons, may I become King Gesar! This was sung through a beautiful melody, and not long after, due to the power of inspiring the deities, when the lord Trothung was in his own residence, at dawn, he dreamed of Hayagriva appearing and giving this advice through a clear voice, drawn into a song: Song ala ala ala! This is the way of singing of Mathala Lingpa (Tibetan place name, meaning 'Land of Padmasambhava'). Do you know someone like me? If you don't know someone like me, I am the supreme deity of the Padma family, possessing the great Hayagriva, the guardian deity of the lord Trothung. Do you know this land?
