NKL274 Teachings of Ngawang Kunga Lodro, The Ritual for Erecting the Banner of Magzor Gyalmo (藏文:དམག་ཟོར་རྒྱལ་མོ།,Wisdom Dakini), May Auspiciousness and Light of a Million Suns Abide! 6-857 The Ritual for Erecting the Banner of Magzor Gyalmo (藏文:དམག་ཟོར་རྒྱལ་མོ།,Wisdom Dakini), May Auspiciousness and Light of a Million Suns Abide! Preparation. The Ritual for Erecting the Banner of Magzor Gyalmo (藏文:དམག་ཟོར་རྒྱལ་མོ།,Wisdom Dakini), May Auspiciousness and Light of a Million Suns Abide! Homage to the Lama and Glorious Vajrakumara! Among all the supports of the Glorious Magzor Gyalmo (藏文:དམག་ཟོར་རྒྱལ་མོ།,Wisdom Dakini), the method for setting up the banner, which is the most supreme, has three parts: preparation, main practice, and conclusion. The first is the preparation: the special characteristic of the material, preferably aquatic trees, such as sandalwood, birch, etc. Otherwise, willow, fir, etc., the spear shaft should not be shorter than one fathom (approximately the length of outstretched arms), and the color should be changed to red by mixing cinnabar or white glue, etc., with poison blood. Pine is not suitable because it is a yin tree. The zho (犏牛) is the tree from which spirits arise, so it is not suitable. The iron spear should be made of iron that has killed three beings: humans, horses, and dogs, and the shape can be three points or one point, shaped like a sword. The lower part should have an iron socket. The tip should be adorned with flames, etc., and made extremely sharp. The poison blood is empowered by reciting the three-syllable mantra of 'calling, cursing, killing' and infused into the iron. The drum handle is best made of marmot drum handle or wild yak drum handle, and if not available, any black drum handle is acceptable, and it is beautifully attached using a wooden wheel cross. Main Practice. The speech support is the wheel: the wheel of the desire realm goddesses arising from Gonpo (藏文:མགོན་པོ།,Protector) etc., with the navel chakra as the body. 6-858 Transforming into Magzor (藏文:དམག་ཟོར།,Wisdom Dakini) is effective. In the 'Precious Key to the Whispered Transmission of the Complete Protector Dharma Cycle' composed by Tsarchen (藏文:ཚར་ཆེན།), the history of the goddess and her attendants is narrated, and finally it is said: 'However, these are all of the same lineage, therefore the forms of the goddess and the attendants, the forms of the attendants, show various means of subduing, and there is no absolute certainty.' Therefore, the mantra is the ending of the Tibetan three-syllable mantra of 'calling, cursing, killing' that will appear below: 'Glorious Magzor Gyalmo (藏文:དམག་ཟོར་རྒྱལ་མོ།,Wisdom Dakini) and retinue, please remain steadfast on this banner, protect the Buddhist teachings, increase the power of the Three Jewels, be the protector of me, the practitioner, be the steward of people, wealth, and enjoyment, eliminate obstacles, accomplish favorable conditions, and to the evil forces that entice enemies and demons, manifest fierce omens and miraculous powers, and swiftly accomplish the action of annihilation!' Wrap as much of this content written on paper with poison blood as possible around the tip of the spear shaft, and adorn it with silk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
