'The Auspicious Union with All Buddhas, the Single and Ninefold True Moon Mandala, with its Recitation, Practice, and Fire Offering Ritual - The Oral Instructions of Vajra Heruka' Homage to the Guru, the Glorious Great Heruka, the True Mind! Guru Shri Maha Samyak Citta Ya Namah (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning): Guru, Auspicious, Great, Union, Mind, Homage! The wisdom mind of the truly perfect Buddha, the self-nature of the mind, Vajra Heruka. From the realm of primordial purity, arises the body endowed with wrath and desire. The Guru who possesses the three kayas, the great king of wrathful deities. The essence of the Buddhas' mind, transmitted through wise and accomplished ones. As the lineage has been, I beseech the oath-bound protectors to keep their vows. By this practice, the instructions that bring the two siddhis to fruition. Listen to the practice of this recitation. Here, in this tantra of 'The Auspicious Union with All Buddhas,' the mandala of the condensed families, where the five families are practiced together, the fifty-eight moon mandalas, and the six family mandalas where each family is practiced separately, appear. However, what is now widely known is the ninefold true moon mandala with Akshobhya as the main deity. Furthermore, in order to separate the parts of the generation stage from that, and to practice the Great Perfection instructions, the mandalas of the single true lamp, etc., are taught. Among them, the root of the practice method of the single moon mandala of Glorious Heruka, composed by Acharya Humkara, and based on the one composed by Ganpa Rinchen Gyaltsen. Clarifying what is slightly unclear, the vows of the ritual, and the way of generating the deities, etc., although many differences appear in the old texts, in order to be in accordance with the realization of Vajrakila, the rituals composed by the Dharma Lord Lama, and to be easy to practice, therefore, constantly practice, and when reciting in terms of time and number, this concise practice is complete in meaning. First, the place of recitation should be a secluded and pleasant practice room, or a place where the Guru, the upper generation of faithful ones, etc., reside, or a place not inhabited by ghosts and evil spirits. In front of oneself, establish the support of the Guru and Yidam, especially the Great Heruka --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In front of the deity statue or consecrated painted image, offer a 'torma' (ritual cake) that is triangular at the top and round at the bottom, encircled by a thumb-press, adorned with flesh and blood not specifically slaughtered, placed in the center. To the left of the 'torma', in a willow-branch 'bhanda' (skull-cup), place 'rakta' (blood). To the right of the 'torma', in an auspicious skull-cup, place pure essence medicine. After each of the three offerings, offer a white round 'torma' for dedication. The 'torma' for the demon king and 'phurba' (ritual dagger) protectors are triangular. 5-568 If performing a grand 'torma' dedication in the evening, offer one to ten types of 'damtsig' (sacred substances) according to the practice of elaboration or condensation. In front of these offerings, arrange two water offerings as preliminary offerings. On the eighth, tenth, or fourteenth day of the waning moon, at an auspicious evening time with strong and auspicious stars, erect a boundary with clear signs to protect against others outside the practice room. Regarding this, there are various elaborate and condensed practices of the previous lamas, but the Sakya father and sons and their followers only perform the expulsion of obstacles, the request for stability, and the recitation of auspicious verses, and that is sufficient. Two or three boundary servants and the physician, as well as necessary letters and items, are allowed within the boundary, while others are cut off for a month, and the boundary must be very strict. Facing east or south, sit on a comfortable cushion. First, sprinkle the offering substances with the tip of the 'vajra' (ritual scepter) and purify them with mantras such as 'Om Vajra Krodha Amrita', and purify them with 'Svabhava'. From emptiness, from the letter 'Ah', manifest vast, burning 'bhandas' (skull-cups), filled with offerings made of divine substances transformed from the melting of the syllable 'Hum': offering water, foot-washing water, flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, food, music, and other inconceivable offerings, clear and unobstructed, like the inconceivable clouds of offerings arising from the liberation of glorious Samantabhadra (the Primordial Buddha). 5-569 May the lamas and the mandala wheel, as well as the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and disciples, see and enjoy these offerings! Om Vajra Ahara Li Hum Phet Svaha! Om Vajra Pushpe Hum! Similarly, Om Vajra Dhupe Hum! Om Vajra Aloke Hum! Om Vajra Gandhe Hum! Om Vajra Naivedye Hum! Om Vajra Shapta Hum! Om Vajra Udapala Hum! Om Vajra Dharma Ranita, Praranita, Sampraranita, Sarva Buddha Kshetra, Prachalini, Prajnaparamita, Nada Svabhavena Vajra Dharma Hrih Daya Ni Santoshani Hum Hum Hum Ho Ho Ho Akham Svaha! Recite three times and shake the hand drum and bell to invoke blessings. Visualize the great protector in the sky in front... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
