May all sentient beings quickly attain the precious state of complete enlightenment of perfect Buddhahood, and through emanations that tame whatever is needed, may they increase the benefit and happiness of the teachings and beings. This is the charter of Tse-gdong Chos-sde Gsang-chen Smra-ba'i-gling, 'Clearly Showing What Should Be Done and What Should Be Stopped: The Sunbeam Activity Spreading the Earth Teaching Lotus,' written by Sa-skya-pa Ngag-dbang Kun-dg'a Blo-gros Sangs-rgyas Bstan-pa'i Rgyal-mtshan Dpal-bzang-po. This place, which has many names such as Og-gam, Smon-mkhar, Stag-tshang, or Rtse-gdong, was previously protected by the successive lineages of the Sa-skya family and maintained the pure tradition of the venerable superiors. Although it had greatly declined for a while, later the upper seat bestowed a good prophecy that it could manage the monastery. When I myself came to this area at the age of nineteen, the monastic and lay communities were very devoted to the teachings, but because they did not immediately follow the tradition of the superiors, they could only do what they knew for mandala offerings, recitations, and so on, and it was difficult to establish new things. Therefore, I asked if there were pure rituals from the old days of Rtse-gdong, but I only received various rumors and no definite answer. I keep all the monasteries in this area in my heart, and every year I hold a large Phurba (Vajrakilaya) assembly at the upper seat, and invite an appropriate number of monks for training, gradually teaching them chanting, instruments, rituals, hand gestures, and dances according to their respective wisdom. On the auspicious festival of the Earth Sheep year (specific time to be checked) - the fourteenth day of the ninth Tibetan month, the great Phurba assembly was held without any faults, and it was auspicious and complete. Afterwards, the tantric practices of Hevajra, Guhyasamaja, and Chakrasamvara, the three roots, as well as the Dharma protectors of Vajrayogini and Yoga Vajra, will be gradually held. In addition, the arrangements for daily tea offerings and other Dharma activities are also specified in detail. This charter was initially started on the auspicious day of the first day of the tenth Tibetan month at Gye-re Mdo-chos Estate's Sa-lo 'Jam-pa'i Rdo-rje bedroom Theg-chen, and was finally completed on the top floor of Rtse-gdong Bla-brang, at Blo-bde Yongs-rtse and 'Chi-med Nyi-'od Snang-ba.
