The Ritual of Hundred Meats and Hundred Foods, May the Government and Doctrine Flourish, Grant Offerings. The Ritual of Hundred Meats and Hundred Foods, May the Government and Doctrine Flourish, Grant Offerings. Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Perfect), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Arise), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Subdue), Vajra (藏文:བཛྲ,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:Diamond), Guru (藏文:གུ་རུ,梵文天城体:गुरु,梵文罗马拟音:guru,汉语字面意思:Teacher), Padma (藏文:པདྨ,梵文天城体:पद्म,梵文罗马拟音:padma,汉语字面意思:Lotus), Siddhi (藏文:སིདྡྷི,梵文天城体:सिद्धि,梵文罗马拟音:siddhi,汉语字面意思:Accomplishment), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Subdue)! Here, in order to protect sentient beings in the degenerate age from the harm of evil forces, Guru Rinpoche composed this ritual at the border of Tibet and India, and buried it as a treasure in the rocks of Samye Monastery (Zang Yag). Later, Guru Jo Tse extracted this ritual. Now, we follow the tradition of the Sakya school (Sa Lug) to practice the ritual of hundred meats and hundred foods. First, one needs to receive the empowerment of the guru and the yidam, and have completed the basic practice. In addition, one needs to be proficient in the Torma offerings and supplications of the yidam and the protectors. Only such a person can practice this ritual for themselves and others. The place of practice should be a secluded place, not just anyone can enter. Prepare the samaya substances, Torma offerings, which can be elaborate or simple, and offerings such as alcohol. In front of these offerings, place a black tent, the size of the tent should be able to accommodate all the items. Then, make a substitute for the ritual, which can be yellow or gray, male or female, and the clothing can be arbitrary. If it is to eliminate obstacles for riding animals, then there is no need to make a human substitute, but to make substitutes for horses, mules, yaks, donkeys, camels, etc. Alternatively, you can also make substitutes for cows, sheep, goats, female yaks, dogs, etc. In short, you should make the corresponding animal substitute according to what is requested, and you must make the animal's skull. Finally, mix gold, silver and other precious items together, wrap them in silk, and make a package. In addition, prepare tea, butter, various food models, cloth, willow branches, fruits, medicines and other items. Also prepare many riding animals such as horses and mules, as well as complete sets of saddles, etc. In short, prepare as much food, clothing and daily necessities as possible. Then, pile these items together. To the east of these items, place a monkey made of tsampa, with goods on its back, and a skeleton man driving it from behind. To the south, place a red horse, with goods on its back, and a monk wearing a red hat driving it from behind. To the west, place a black mule, with goods on its back, and a monk wearing a yellow hat driving it from behind. To the north, place a gray yak, with goods on its back, and a yogi wearing a bear skin driving it from behind. All four of these people are carrying packages on their backs. In the four directions, place twenty-five containers filled with alcohol, or hooks decorated with red meat, as well as other offerings. Prepare items such as bone flutes, mustard seeds, and musical instruments. Then, purify and bless the offerings. According to your own tradition, perform the Torma offering and supplication of Phurba Vajra, which can be elaborate or simple. Finally, sing the Vajra song and the auspicious prayer. Prepare abundant offerings, including the substitute in the ritual of hundred meats and hundred foods, and the items in the four directions. Bless them through the six-syllable mantra, the six mudras, and the six samadhis. Purify according to the words in the ritual text. Visualize starting from the nectar, etc... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
