Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! In the sky of the Dharmakaya, which is its nature, The mandala of the Rupakaya, endowed with five certainties, expands. The rays of activity cause the lotus of those to be tamed to bloom, I worship the Sugata Sun with a hundredfold faith. The precious wish-fulfilling tree of the Victorious One's Dharma, In that cool shade that protects all existence and peace from suffering, The way in which faithful beings gradually enter, Listen to the groves of four kinds of qualities. Those who wish to cross the endless ocean of samsara, What should be considered first? For the sake of achieving the Dharma of liberation, peace and happiness, Strive fully in this life. A body that is difficult to obtain and easy to destroy, If you do not strive when you have obtained the boat of leisure and endowment, You will never escape from the ocean of existence, And the multitude of various sufferings will never cease. The river of birth and death has no visible shore, The place where the bubbles of old age and sickness are everywhere. The waves of disturbing emotions pervade the edge of existence, The great ocean is terrifying and frightening. Having heard that, the stream of birth and death is cut off, And one will never be separated from the supreme bliss, With the excellent ship of the supreme Dharma of peace, Strive to cross the ocean of disturbing emotions of the three realms. If you do not cultivate the path of liberation, enlightenment, in this life, Even the name of a happy rebirth will not be heard in the future, The endless evil destinies pass from one to another, There is no way to escape from the state of perpetual samsara. Therefore, wise beings, When you have obtained a human body of leisure and endowment, Strive from the heart to accomplish benefit and happiness. By that, both one's own and others' purposes will be accomplished. Although leisure and endowment are obtained, there is no trust in them, All are impermanent, changing, and without essence. Momentary, impermanent, of the nature of destruction, Think from the heart that you will die quickly. Thus, all the worlds of the container, When seven fires and one water are scattered by the wind, Not even a hair's residue will remain, All will be empty and become one sky. Sentient beings are impermanent, moving, gods and demigods

Humans and animals, as well as hungry ghosts and hell beings, all eventually sink into the river of death, transmigration, and birth. Years, months, days, and seasons, are momentary, impermanent, decaying, and changing. The changing of the four seasons is extremely wearying. Consider that your own lifespan is also impermanent and changing, unreliable, and that body and life are on the verge of separation. Which will come first, tomorrow or the time of my death? There is no certainty. From this very day, you must definitely contemplate. The suffering of birth is more frightening than death. Wherever one is born, there is no happiness, the nature of samsara is like a pit of fire. Now is the time to seek a way to escape from it. Hell has the suffering of heat and cold, hungry ghosts have the suffering of hunger and thirst, animals devour each other, ignorance and delusion are full of suffering. Humans are tormented by the three poisons and eight sufferings. Asuras are constantly fighting, and gods have death and falling. Happiness and suffering alternate, and conditioned suffering is abundant. After enjoying wealth and happiness in the heavenly realms, when life ends, they will again fall into the fires of hell. Thinking about these things, please transcend samsara. The appearances of this life are like a dream upon awakening, changing and impermanent, and must be abandoned and left behind, so what is the use of relatives and possessions? Now is the time to strive in the Dharma. Desires are like poison, blades, and fire, completely tormenting, with no opportunity for happiness. Accumulating, guarding, and increasing desires brings suffering, and one is bound by greed, miserliness, and stinginess. Contending with everyone, defilements and outflows increase. Being distracted by worldly affairs, one is at war with body and mind. Affairs are numerous and contradictory to the Dharma. They are constantly condemned by the noble ones. Those with few desires naturally increase in virtue. Therefore, those who have entered the path of peaceful liberation, please reduce desires and be content and satisfied. Exhausting desires is being a true noble one, having few desires is called the lineage of the noble ones. Just as those with many desires increase suffering and defilements, those with few desires naturally increase in virtue. Therefore, following in the footsteps of the holy ones of the past, constantly be content and reduce possessions. The faults of associating with people are also immeasurable, aimlessly distracted, and affairs also increase. Anger and fighting increase, and attachment and hatred arise. Suffering constantly spreads, and there is no meaning. No matter what you do, it is difficult to satisfy.
