From birth until now. No matter how much happiness I have experienced, I am still not satisfied, and my mind clings to desires. In this way, even the happiness of this life cannot be achieved, yet I want to accomplish the benefit of all lifetimes. How can I attain nirvana? Now the path of desire should also be enough! Your heart, from today onwards, must work harder!" "Abandon desire and go into the forest! No matter how you think about it, there is no benefit. In order to become accustomed to observing your own mind, from today onwards, go into the forest! Your heart, go to accomplish eternal happiness! I am sitting on the last bed, and I must abandon everything and leave alone. This will not be long, it will definitely happen. Go into the forest now! Nowadays, this time is very impure, so even if I say it, it is of no benefit to others. Plant the wish for the benefit of future generations. So do not stay, go to the forest to practice!" "Neither benefiting oneself nor benefiting others, abandon this matter, your heart, today, in order to surely accomplish the benefit for yourself, go to the forest, heart, go to practice for the meaning! Later, when you attain the state of benefiting others, without thinking of yourself even for a moment, strive for the benefit of countless beings. From the depths of your heart, surely plant good wishes. Now, if there is still a thought in your heart, do not stay, go to the forest to practice! Please let those who are inferior to me hear, especially in order to uphold the Buddha's teachings. The essence of the teachings lies in teaching and listening to the Dharma. In this way, the Buddha's teachings can flourish, and one's own mind can also increase wisdom. No matter how you think about it, it is impermanent and without essence. All compounded things, even if they are good, will surely perish." "Understanding this truth, for the sake of the imperishable essence, go to seek the supreme of the unerring mind! The Sage has spoken of as many aggregates of Dharma as there are, and the meaning of all of them also lies in abandoning desire and abiding equally in the meaning of peace. Apart from that, there are no other teachings, your heart, think of death, surely go to the forest! The forest is praised by all the Victors. Those who are content with little desire also dwell in the forest. Now, in this time of unstable thoughts, placing the mind within is the most important.

I, amidst the multitude, am distracted by worldly affairs, Not staying even for a moment, Even if well-guarded, afflictions follow closely, Therefore, do not stay, go to the forest to meditate. Even if the nature of all dharmas is understood, If one remains in the world, it is of no benefit, To familiarize the mind with the nature of dharma, One should not stay, one must go into the forest. In the forest, distractions and busyness naturally diminish, Free from all suffering of fear and harm, Surpassing the joy of heavenly cities, Rejoice today in the peaceful forest! Alas! Mind, listen to the virtues of the forest: The precious trees worthy of offering to the Buddhas, Laden with fruits, grow luxuriantly in the forest, Leaves and flowers, fragrant and blossoming, The scent of incense and the coolness of breezes also rise, The mountain streams make pleasant murmuring sounds, The mountainside covered by the cool moonlight, Is draped with garments of dense clouds. There, the constellations adorn it completely, Fragrant ponds where flocks of geese soar, Many birds and animals roam in peace. Lotuses, wish-fulfilling trees, and utpala flowers (water lilies), Are filled with the humming songs of bees. The trees of the forest perform swaying dances, The drooping branches of vines play with their hands, As if welcoming guests, saying, "Welcome!" The cool, pure waters covered with lotuses, Are like the radiant faces of smiling ones. The gardens are adorned with garlands of flowers and trees, The blue-green sky is well-supported, Like stars shining in the clear sky, Like gods playing in a joyful grove. The cuckoo sings sweet, intoxicating songs, The seasonal winds gently stir the flowers, The cloud elephants make joyful sounds, The appearance of rain is excellent, cool and refreshing. The food of roots, leaves, and fruits, Is untainted by sin, the forest has all four seasons. All afflictions also naturally diminish in the forest, No unpleasant words are spoken, Far from the bustling city, Peaceful contemplation naturally increases in the forest. Conforming to the sacred Dharma, this mind is tamed, One obtains the bliss of peace in the forest. In short, the virtues of the forest are limitless, Even if spoken of for eons, they would never be exhausted. The Buddhas of the three times
