༄༅། །The commentary on the Great Perfection, Resting the Mind in Meditation, , called The Pure Chariot. In Indian language: Mahasandhi Dhyana Vishranta Sya Vritti. Ratha Vishuddha Kana Nama. In Tibetan: The commentary on the Great Perfection, Resting the Mind in Meditation, called The Pure Chariot. Homage to glorious Samantabhadra. Whose nature is primordially peaceful, the expanse of space free from elaboration, Whose spontaneously accomplished body and wisdom nature are inherently beautiful, Whose myriad activities radiate light, following the realms of those to be tamed, The victorious ones and their heirs, with the sun of knowledge and compassion, I worship with the crown of all-encompassing joy. For fortunate beings, in the city of liberation, From whose path the Dharma certainly arises, From the ways of the Great Perfection of self-nature, This commentary, The Pure Chariot, will be clearly illuminated. Now, the pinnacle of all the Sugata's vast scriptures is the category of the Dharma of the Great Perfection of self-nature, and the definite order of how a single individual should practice it is established in what is called Resting the Mind in Meditation of the Great Perfection. Therefore, here, this commentary clearly shows the place of the instructions. For now, first, the prostration: The primordial nature, the pure realm equal to space, The supreme Dharma, unwavering, utterly free from elaboration, To the luminous mind itself, the heart of enlightenment, I prostrate to the ground of completion, unchanging. Now, the ground of the Great Perfection is: the mind itself, the spontaneously arisen wisdom, unwavering, free from all extremes of elaboration, the nature of the essence, free from all distinctions, like the sky opening up to emptiness, like the sun and moon, clear and without diminishing, like a jewel whose qualities are spontaneously accomplished, the ground or realm that is not established in either samsara or nirvana, but in which everything arises, by knowing awareness as its own face, I prostrate to the meaning of the unchanging ground. From the All-Creating King: Alas! Teacher's doctrine, All-Creating King, You, the nature of the victorious ones of the three times, the Dharmadhatu, Not abandoning samsara, compassion without partiality, I bow to you, the Teacher, All-Creating King. Also, from the Dohas: The mind itself is the seed of all, In which there is existence and sorrow, transcendence.
