༄༅། །དུས་ཀྱི་གསལ་བྱེད་བཞུགས་སོ། ། དུས་ཀྱི་གསལ་བྱེད་ཅེས་བྱ་བ། དཔལ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན་པོ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ། །ཀུན་བཟང་ཆོས་རྗེ་བླ་མའི་ཞབས་བཏུད་དེ། །རྣལ་འབྱོར་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོའི་བྱེར་ཟུག་ལས། །འཆི་བ་བརྟག་བསླུ་དུས་ཀྱི་གསལ་བྱེད་བྲི། །འདི་ལ་འཆི་བ་བརྟག་པ། བསླུ་བ་གཉིས་ལས། དང་པོ་བརྟག་པའི་རིམ་པ་མང་དུ་གསུངས་ཀྱང༌། འབྱུང་བ་རང་གདངས་ཀྱི་སྣང་བ་ཚེ་གཟུགས་བརྟག་པ་ཁོ་ན་མཆོག་ཏུ་གསུང་པ་འདི་ལ་ཆད་ལྷག་ལས་འཆི་བའི་དུས་ཚོད་བརྟག་པ། དབྱིབས་ལ་བསླུ་བས་བཟློག་གམ་མི་བཟློག་བརྟག་པ། ཁ་དོག་ལས་གདོན་བརྟག་པ་དང་གསུམ་ལས། དང་པོ་ནི་ནམ་མཁའ་དྭངས་པའི་ཆོས་རབ་ཏུ་དབེན་པའི་གནས་སུ་སོང་ལ། ཉི་མ་ལ་རྒྱབ་གཏད་དེ་ལངས་ལ་གཅེར་བུའམ། གོས་རྗེ་རྗེ་ཅང་ཅང་དུ་བྱས་ལག་ཏུ་དབྱུག་པའམ། ཕྲེང་བ་བཟུང་བའི་གྲིབ་མའི་སྙིང་གར་མིག་མ་འགུལ་ཤེས་པ་མ་ཡེངས་པས་རིང་ཞིག་བལྟས་པས་སྐྱ་འོལ་བ་བྱུང་དུས། མིག་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་བལྟས་པས། རང་གི་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པ་ལམ་གྱིས་འཆར་ཏེ། ཡན་ལག་ཚང་ཞིང་ཕྱག་མཚན་དང་བཅས་པ་རྫོགས་པ་མཐོང་ན་སྐྱོན་མེད་དོ། །གཟུགས་དེའི་ལག་གི་ཕྱག་མཚན་མེད་ན། བརྟན་པའི་ལྷ་དང་བྲལ་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། ལོ་བདུན་ན་འཆིའོ། །ལག་པ་གཡས་མེད་ན་ལོ་ལྔ་ནའོ། །གཡོན་མེད་ན་ལོ་གསུམ་ནའོ། །རྐང་པ་གཡས་པའི་པུས་མོ་མན་མེད་ན་ལོ་གཉིས་ནའོ། ། ཐམས་ཅད་མེད་ན་ཟླ་བ་བརྒྱད་ནའོ། །རྐང་པ་གཡོན་མེད་ན་ལོ་གཅིག་ ནའོ། །མགོ་ཡི་གཡས་མེད་ན་ཟླ་བ་དགུ་ནའོ། །གཡོན་མེད་ན་ཟླ་བ་བདུན་ནའོ། །རྐེ་ཡན་ཆད་མེད་ན་ཟླ་བ་ལྔ་ནའོ། རྐེ་དང་བཅས་པ་མེད་ན་ཟླ་བ་གསུམ་མོ། །རོ་སྟོད་མེད་ན་ཟླ་བ་གཉིས་སོ། །རོ་སྨད་མེད་ན་ཟླ་བ་གཅིག་ གོ །ལུས་ཕྱེད་ཚལ་གྱི་གཡས་མེད་ན་ཞག་ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་དགུ་ནའོ། །གཡོན་མེད་ན་ཞག་ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་གཅིག་གོ །གཡས་ནི་ལག་ཆ་གཡས་སུ་བཟུང་བ་དེ་གང་ཤར་བ་དེ་ལ་རྩིས་པས་ཤེས་སོ། །དབྱིབས་ལས་བསླུ་བས་བཟློག་གམ་མི་བཟློག་བརྟག་པ་ནི། གྲུ་བཞི་དང༌། ནར་མོ་དང༌། ཟླུམ་པོ་དང༌། ཟླ་གམ་དུ་བྱུང་ན་བསླུ་བས་བཟློག་གོ །གྲུ་གསུམ་དང་རོ་གཏུམས་པ་ལྟ་བུ་བྱུང་ན་མི་བཟློག་པས་གདམས་པའི་གསལ་གདབ་བོ། ཁ་དོག་ལས་གདོན་བརྟག་པ་ན། ལྟ་བའི་ཚེ་དཀར་ལམ་པ་ལས་དབུས་ནས་ཡལ་ན་ཀླུ་དང་རྒྱལ་པོའི་གདོན་གྱིས་ཟིན་པའོ། །ནག་པོ་ལས་གཡས་ནས་ཡལ་ན་བདུད་དང་མ་མོས་ཟིན་པའོ། ། དམར་པོ་ལས་གཡོན་ནས་ཡལ་ན་ཀླུ་བཙན་དང་འགོ

༄༅། །时位明鉴 祈请安住。 名为《时位明鉴》。顶礼吉祥普贤王如来。 众生怙主，大慈大悲。 礼敬普贤法王上师尊。 从瑜伽士的身体散乱中，书写关于死亡的占卜和欺骗的时位明鉴。 此中有死亡的占卜和欺骗两种。 首先，虽然说了许多占卜的次第，但最殊胜的是占卜自生五大的显现，即寿命之身。在此，从缺失和盈余来占卜死亡的时间，从形状来占卜是否能用欺骗来逆转，以及从颜色来占卜鬼神。 首先，去往天空晴朗、极其寂静的地方，背对太阳站立，赤身裸体或穿着破旧的衣服，手中拿着棍子或念珠，眼睛不要动，心不要散乱，长时间注视自己的影子的中心。当出现模糊的影子时，将眼睛看向天空。 自己的身体的形象会逐渐显现。如果看到肢体完整，且具有法器，则没有问题。 如果那个形象的手中没有法器，则被称为与稳固之神分离，七年后会死亡。 如果没有右手，则五年后会死亡。 如果没有左手，则三年后会死亡。 如果右脚膝盖以下没有，则两年后会死亡。 如果全部没有，则八个月后会死亡。 如果没有左脚，则一年后会死亡。 如果头的右侧没有，则九个月后会死亡。 如果左侧没有，则七个月后会死亡。 如果脖子以上没有，则五个月后会死亡。 如果连脖子一起没有，则三个月后会死亡。 如果没有上半身，则两个月后会死亡。 如果没有下半身，则一个月后会死亡。 如果身体一半的右侧没有，则二十九天后会死亡。 如果左侧没有，则二十一天后会死亡。 右侧是指手中拿着的右侧之物显现的任何东西，都以此来计算。 从形状来占卜是否能用欺骗来逆转，如果出现四方形、长方形、圆形或月牙形，则可以用欺骗来逆转。 如果出现三角形或像倒扣的锅一样的形状，则无法逆转，需要明确指示。 从颜色来占卜鬼神，如果在观看时，白色光芒从中间消失，则被龙和国王的鬼神所控制。 如果黑色从右侧消失，则被魔鬼和妖女所控制。 如果红色从左侧消失，则被龙、赞神和鬼怪所控制。

༄༅། །May the Clarifier of Times Reside. Named "The Clarifier of Times." Homage to Glorious Samantabhadra. Protector of beings, greatly compassionate. I bow to the feet of the Kunsang Dharma Lord Lama. From the scattered fragments of yogis' bodies, I write the Clarifier of Times for examining and deceiving death. This has two parts: examining and deceiving death. First, although many sequences of examination are spoken of, the most supreme is said to be the examination of the self-arisen elemental appearances, the life-form. Here, one examines the time of death from deficiencies and excesses, examines whether one can reverse it with deception from the shape, and examines demons from the color. First, go to a place that is clear of sky and extremely secluded, stand with your back to the sun, naked or with tattered clothes, holding a stick or rosary in your hand, and gaze for a long time at the center of your shadow without moving your eyes or letting your mind wander. When a blurry shadow appears, look at the sky. The appearance of your own body will gradually appear. If you see that the limbs are complete and possess emblems, there is no problem. If that form does not have emblems in its hands, it is said to be separated from the steadfast deity, and will die in seven years. If the right hand is missing, it will die in five years. If the left hand is missing, it will die in three years. If the right leg below the knee is missing, it will die in two years. If everything is missing, it will die in eight months. If the left leg is missing, it will die in one year. If the right side of the head is missing, it will die in nine months. If the left side is missing, it will die in seven months. If everything above the neck is missing, it will die in five months. If even the neck is missing, it will die in three months. If the upper body is missing, it will die in two months. If the lower body is missing, it will die in one month. If the right side of half the body is missing, it will die in twenty-nine days. If the left side is missing, it will die in twenty-one days. The right side is determined by whatever appears on the right side that is held in the hand. To examine whether one can reverse with deception from the shape, if a square, rectangle, circle, or crescent shape appears, one can reverse with deception. If a triangle or a shape like an overturned pot appears, it cannot be reversed, so a clear instruction is needed. To examine demons from the color, if the white light disappears from the center when looking, one is possessed by the demons of nagas and kings. If black disappears from the right side, one is possessed by demons and demonesses. If red disappears from the left side, one is possessed by nagas, tsen spirits, and goblins.
