It is called "appearing in disappearance," which means awareness recognizes, wandering is purified, and consciousness completely disappears. If this result is named, it is called "the result of self-nature purity," which is not obtained by deliberate effort, but the meaning of being originally abiding manifests in itself, so it is called "abiding in its own ground." Secondly, regarding the pith instruction of awareness being left as it is, when the five external objects appear, the five consciousnesses of the senses should be left as they are; when internal thoughts and awareness arise, the consciousness of mind should be left as it is; when the secret awareness is clear in its own place, one should practice the three methods of leaving the self-abiding Dharmakaya as it is. Know that all the key points of awareness are contained in these three without exception. The essence is that whatever appears, whether appearance or awareness, is left as it is, empty in its own clarity. In the natural flow of mind's appearance, in the way objects of awareness appear, in the Dharmakaya of awareness's own place, in the vastness without interruption, in the natural and authentic way of abiding, naked, empty, transparent, open, pure and clear. The ground abides in the self-image of the Dharmakaya, the intellect abides in the way the Dharmakaya appears, the objects abide in the empty form of the self-appearing Dharmakaya, the uninterrupted abides in the self-place of the Dharmakaya, the transparent and stainless abides in the self-nature of the Dharmakaya, the Dharma exhausted and intellect transcended abides in the reality of the Dharmakaya. Alala, emaho, well realized! Joy overflows, smiles beam, the yogi's appearance is the Dharmakaya's appearance. Thirdly, regarding the view, at the time when the three realms are primordially pure, the outer, inner, and intermediate three, the body, speech, and mind three, appear in the great liberation of vastness and unobstructedness, transcending karma and habitual tendencies, subduing the three realms, samsara is completely destroyed, confusion is purified, and the view of the ground-result Dharmakaya is spontaneously accomplished, hence it is called the view of the three realms being primordially pure. The Dharma is exhausted, the intellect is transcended, karma is ceased, the door of purity like the sky is obtained. Having gone to the continent of Dharmakaya, one does not turn back. The ocean of samsara has been crossed. At this time, afflictions are liberated in the Dharmadhatu, the bondage of grasping and being grasped is severed, like clouds dispersing in the sky. This yogi is called the one who has exhausted the Dharma, the one who has abandoned the Dharma, the one who has transcended the Dharma. The essence is that awareness abides in its own ground, therefore it does not turn back, and that is the result. In the mirror of Vajrasattva's heart, all the Dharma of the result, body, speech, and mind

Know that the result is non-returning from the womb! Thus it is said. The yoga of taking the result as the path has been explained. Thus, the four yogas have also been shown as paths according to one's preference. It is not that one is taught without being complete in one meditation session, but because each one completely shows the conditions for the path to be complete and without error. Therefore, the categories of the Dharma of the gate of the Great Perfection of Naturalness are as vast as the sky, and the opportunities for methods and paths are wide. This is the instruction of the essential heart of definitive meaning, it is the footsteps of the Buddhas of the three times, past and future. The yogi who realized through the kindness of the lama, has arranged it well with various good self-liberations. Fortunate ones who follow in later generations, treat this letter with respect and cherish it. The essential points that I have experienced and ascertained, are the very essence of the essence of the scriptures, transmissions, and instructions. By this virtue, may I and all beings, effortlessly attain the fruit of the Dharma King of complete liberation! The sequence called the Four Yogas, was completed by the yogi Longchen Rabjam of the Supreme Vehicle at the neck of Gangri Todkar (Snow Mountain White Top). Good! Good! Good! From the Legacy of the Ancestors, The Collected Works of Longchen Rabjam (11) The Sequence of the Four Yogas.
