Herein is the treatise called "The Arrangement of the Three Samayas." The Arrangement of the Three Samayas. Homage to glorious Samantabhadra. In the realm of primordial, unchanging, spontaneously accomplished reality, manifest as the fully enlightened Samantabhadra, and to the lineage of the three families, the Dharma Lord Lama, I pay homage with a thousand petals of faith fluttering. For the sake of the definitive meaning, the near path of all secret mantras, the pure vows and commitments are like an ocean. In order to attain supreme and common siddhis, I will briefly explain the way to protect them, the Vinaya of mantra. Here, one should understand that there are twenty-five common samayas of secret mantra, twenty-seven special samayas, and four unsurpassed samayas. First, among the twenty-five common samayas, there are five samayas to be known, five samayas to be practiced, five samayas not to be abandoned, five samayas to be adopted, and five samayas to be accomplished. Since the inner secret mantras are mainly taught in the two lower tantras, the creation and completion stages with their elaborations are the outer samayas. Here, only the knowledge of the limbs of the Great Perfection's means is required, not the actual stages, so it should be taught in the lower tantras, and elaboration is sufficient. Among the twenty-seven special samayas, the root is that the three kayas, speech, and mind are divided into three outer, inner, and secret aspects, thus arranged into three sets of nine. The spontaneously accomplished, self-arisen wisdom naturally abides in the kayas, speech, and mind, but due to inverted clinging, habitual patterns are formed in the deluded body, speech, and mind. To purify the impurity of the three doors, empowerment is given. To purify the deluded body, speech, and mind through nine purifications, the method of protecting the non-deluded body, speech, and mind through nine purifications is taught. Therefore, this classification is made first. As it is said in the *Thal 'Gyur*: "The samayas based on empowerment, if divided, cannot be expressed, but in brief, body, speech, and mind, the yogi applies to body, speech, and mind." Thus it is. The samayas of the body are divided into three outer, inner, and secret aspects, and the outer aspect is also divided into three outer, inner, and secret aspects. The outer of the outer is receiving blessed substances, the outer of the inner is practicing impure conduct, and the outer of the secret is taking life, these three should be abandoned. If they are violated, the faults are immeasurable, as it is said in the *Heap of Jewels Tantra*: "In the outer samayas of the body, there are three aspects."

It should be examined in detail. If not taken, it is external, which will lead to the breaking of the vow of the body. The sign of this is on the limbs, where various unpleasant things will arise on the body. Practicing impure conduct is internal, that is, the diseases of the senses that always exist. Cutting off life is secret, the sign of which is in the internal organs, which the yogi will experience. Thus it is said. Regarding the internal vows of the body, there are three: outer, inner, and secret. The outer of the inner is not to slander siblings and parents. The inner of the inner is to avoid slandering the bodies of those who have entered practice even slightly, for those who are interested in entering the Dharma. The secret of the inner is not to slander one's own body, for if one slanders, the sin is heavy. In the Sutra of the Golden Chamber, it is said: The outer of the inner is siblings, as well as parents, and not to slander one's own body. The inner of the inner, in general, for the Dharma of the Great and Small Vehicles, those who wish to enter, those who have entered, and the body that holds the image after entering, if one slanders, elevates, or slanders the adornment, then hundreds and thousands of Buddha bodies are deceived. The secret of the inner is one's own body, because it is the mandala of the deity, therefore, mixing poison in medicine and food, or striking with weapons, taking hundreds of bodies without a path of leakage, and then experiencing the hot hell. Thus it is said. Regarding the three: outer, inner, and secret of the secret of the body, the outer of the secret is not to slander Vajra brothers and sisters. The inner of the secret is not to slander very close brothers and sisters. The secret of the secret is to avoid making careless actions in front of the guru, and if violated, the sin is heavy. Again, as previously said: The outer of the secret of the body is to observe the boundaries of the body of a Vajra brother or sister, or to make gestures of elevating or striking with the hand, and even if one makes others do it, it will lead to the continuation of the uninterrupted hell. The inner is a very close posture, even in a joking posture, making a gesture of striking or preparing to strike, or even violating the consort in a dream, if one does not immediately confess, then this sin is the same as before. The secret of the secret is not to cross the shadow of the guru, nor in the sight of the guru, to hold weapons, one should not stretch out one's hands and feet or lie down, one should not sit cross-legged or turn one's back, one should avoid shoes, cushions, riding animals, and gorgeous ornaments such as umbrellas. In the guru's bedroom, the hand
