༄༅། །The Small Whispered Transmission, Yeshe Rangnang, resides. ། Profound and vast, the supreme essence's meaning, Clearly showing, to the Guru's feet I bow. Thigle's supreme secret whispered transmission's three stages, Combining instructions, Yeshe Rangnang is arranged. From the three divisions of the spontaneously perfect Great Perfection, Even in the Upadesha section, there are outer, inner, and secret categories. From the Heart Drop's self-commentary, Clear Light Manifest, The practice of the wordless whispered transmission is written. Here, the essence instruction on the Thigle secret category, the pinnacle of all vehicles, has three aspects: the history of the lineage, the instructions arising from it, and the great importance of sealing with the command. First, it was taught by glorious Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) to Vajrasattva. He taught it to the great master Garab Dorje. He taught it to Manjushrimitra. He taught it to Shri Singha. He taught it to Jnanasutra. He taught it to Vimalamitra. He taught it to Nyang Ting Zangpo. He taught it to Bay Dorje Wangchuk. He taught it to Dro Rinchen Barwa. He taught it to the Venerable Langma Lhungyal. He taught it to Lhetsun Senge Wangchuk. He taught it to Shangpa Repa. He taught it to Zaptön Chö Bar. He taught it to Dampa Gyerzhik. He taught it to Nyentön Sherab Tsemö. He taught it to the two incarnate brothers of Nyamme Yönten Gang. He taught it to Lama Namkhai Dorje. He taught it to Lama Dampa Kumaraja. He gave it to Longchen Rabjam. The second point is that the instructions arising from this have three aspects: taking the preliminary practices to heart, the main practice of recognizing one's own face, and how to cultivate appearances afterwards. The first is that among the seven types of mind training, the first is training the mind in the Guru Yoga of devotion, which opens the door of blessings: Sit comfortably on a seat, take refuge and generate bodhichitta. On the crown of your head, in the center of a lotus and sun, the root guru and all the lineage gurus dissolve, blossoming open. At the end of the swirling of light and rays, contemplate being surrounded by a gathering like an ocean of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Dakinis, and oath-bound protectors. Pay homage with your mind, offer outer and inner offerings, and confess the sins accumulated since beginningless time. Bless me, precious Guru, to recognize the face of my own mind. Bless me to dissolve the delusion of self-grasping. Bless me to let clear light arise from within. And so on.
