When I urinate somewhere and look east, if blue-red steam appears in the sunlight, misfortune will occur within half a month. If black, fragmented steam appears, misfortune will occur within eleven days. If red, dotted steam appears, misfortune will occur within nine days. Other situations are without problems. Furthermore, in a city, observe the smoke of monks: when the sun rises, observe the smoke that has lost its own image, and if there is no steam, misfortune will occur within nine days. On the summit of Mount Meru, observe the unchanging sun that never sets: if you squint and see no light, misfortune will occur within three days. In the hollow of Mount Meru, observe the sound of the dakinis: lying down like a lion, with your ear to the ground, if there is no sound, misfortune will occur within five, seven, or eleven days. Observe whether a demon has arisen on the wish-fulfilling tree: if seven hairs on the back of the neck stand up, death is certain within seven days. Secondly, deceiving death, combining the two, the general method of deceiving death is: offer to the guru and the Three Jewels, and accumulate merit. Perform the practice of longevity.
