If you bind yourself in the meditation box with diligence, like walking without ceasing to come and go, If you don't meditate, ordinary thoughts arise freely in your mind, like staying in your own place without coming and going. Even if you observe, you don't see anything, only increasing the confusion of discriminating thoughts, Holding onto the rosary of attachment is meaningless, abandon the thoughts and considerations of the mind. Without thinking or observing, the key is ordinary awareness, movement causes obstruction, and appearance is self-liberated. There is no need for antidotes, it is self-liberation, and so are thoughts such as attachment and aversion. Thinking that viewing and letting go is self-liberation, but in the next life, the previous thought has already ceased, Don't you know that this is the nature of reality? Previous and subsequent thoughts do not stay at the same time, Since the previous thought has ceased, meditation is useless, the mind of the subsequent thought has not departed from thought, Adding thought upon thought is like a rotten rope connecting rotten things, the mind stream, previous and subsequent, are different times and different, In the subsequent time, the previous thought has ceased and is gone, therefore, in order to liberate the collection of previous thoughts, Even if the subsequent thought liberates, it is not self-liberation, knowing that there is previous and subsequent is other-liberation, Holding onto it as self-liberation is the act of a fool, like saying "herding cows" what difference is there? Furthermore, the subsequent thought observes the previous thought, the continuation of thought is like a string of beads, It becomes far from the supreme unwavering meditation, even calm abiding, insight, union, and equipoise, are merely the dwelling of the continuation of thought, the dwelling of union and combination, if the realization of the meaning free from the base is not born, you cannot transcend the birth place of the higher realms, meditating in order to cease thoughts is also not the nature of reality, Prohibition does not cease, but rather appears more coarse than before, like the water in a pond, when will afflictions be exhausted? All phenomena are inherently equal in nature, they cannot be expressed and have no object of fixation, Making artificial corrections with the mind only contaminates them, no matter what appears, it is not established in that way, Even though various appearances arise, they are self-liberated in the state of inherent nature, like water and waves in the ocean of wisdom, Remaining without thought is the unconditioned Dharma, sometimes appearing and sometimes ceasing in the vast expanse of the base, There is no need for acceptance or rejection, it is self-arising in the primordial state, the unchanging expanse of the ground's intention is vast. Seeing all kinds of phenomena as illusions, and abandoning acceptance and rejection in the grasping mind, When there is not even a speck of fixation on "this is it", internal and external phenomena are self-pacified.

Realizing that all phenomena are empty in nature. Whatever arises, it is sufficient to enjoy the Dharma as you wish. Like the sky, it is not stained by anything. Without attachment to food, wealth, and all gains, Understanding praise and blame as rain on rocks, When there is no clinging to enemies, friends, attachment, and hatred, The mountain of erroneous affirmation and negation collapses. Let appearances and existence be as they are, freely. Like a snake untying its own knot, it is freed by itself. Seeing oneself as inferior to everyone else, And from the depths of your heart, thinking of impermanence with a short mind, When renunciation arises towards the phenomena of samsara, It greatly benefits the mind of Dharma. No need for pretense, conduct yourself genuinely. The chief of the senses is your own unfeigned mind. Understanding the intention behind various actions, And from the depths of your heart, having continuous devotion, When the interdependence of realization dawns in your mind, When love and compassion are without partiality, And when pure perception arises towards those who practice the Dharma, The blessings of the Lama enter your heart. When your own appearances are pure, the benefit of others is naturally accomplished. The clouds of accomplishments are as vast as the sky. When samsara and nirvana, affirmation and negation, hope and fear are destroyed, When happiness and suffering, adverse conditions are taken as the path, When doubt, hesitation, and pride are resolved, The sun of realization rises from within. Because your own appearances are free from all substantial clinging, Cutting through directly, letting go of awareness is the Dharma. Everything is gathered into a single sphere of bliss. Alas! Friends, I and all beings, From the beginning unborn, like dreams and illusions, All that appears and exists is in the nature of reality, Realization and non-realization are equal from the beginning. Purity and impurity are likewise not dual. Like happiness and suffering appearing in an illusory city, It is merely labeled as the six realms of beings that appear but do not exist. Although various things appear, it is a pure realm from the beginning. The ground of manifest enlightenment is vast and expansive. Like waves resembling mountains in the ocean, Memories, awareness, happiness, suffering, and various things are in the nature of mind, The nature of mind is like the sky in the nature of reality, The nature of reality is unborn from the beginning in emptiness, Emptiness is vast and open, the essence of the complete ground! Alas! Spontaneously perfect, equality, in the primordial state, In the unborn, spacious, vast sky, Even if there are countless suns, moons, planets, stars, and clouds, Like the nature of the sky, it is unmoving and free from elaboration. Likewise, the nature of mind is in the vast sky
