由于有能力的人都逃离了，国王您也把伏藏法都藏起来，这样对众生有大利益。那时由于恶劣的时代，所有的口传教法都会变质，加持也会变小，成就者也会减少。那个时候，这个伏藏因为没有受到口传教法的扰乱，所以加持力大。有缘分的人开启伏藏之门，最终会兴盛起来，（上师）这样说道。国王又问上师：那样的事情发生的因是什么？在哪一年发生？请您告诉我避免那些事情的方法。上师说道：唉！国王，那样的事情发生是这样的：以前，当世尊和魔鬼竞争能力的时候，魔鬼失败了，所以魔鬼发愿说：在释迦教法的末期，我要把一切都掌握在手中。现在，在末法时代，大多数被魔鬼加持的人会竞争财富和宗教物品，父子兄弟和地方之间会发生冲突，僧侣不会遵守寺院的规矩，喜欢装饰打扮，修行者不会遵守誓言，放弃闭关和修行，妇女无法控制自己的身体，人们没有羞耻心，统治者不维护国家法律，反而助长不善，没有信仰的人掌管宗教财产，并且在金刚兄弟之间制造矛盾，嗔恨像火焰一样燃烧，贪欲像水一样沸腾，护法神变成魔鬼，算命和精神错乱的时代会兴盛。魔鬼会加持咒士和僧侣，让他们饲养鬼魂，有学问的和尚会殴打鬼魂，宣扬断见。秘密咒语会在市场上被公开念诵。那是魔鬼的教义兴盛的时代。在那个时候，蒙古军队会在铁阳狗年开始寻找战争的机会，在水阳马年像马一样奔跑，在火阴牛年变得残暴，在木阴牛年稍微可以扭转局面。这些是扭转局面的方法：良好的国家法律，山林河流的禁令，宗教法律，赎命，放弃所有不善的行为，行持十善，遵守戒律和咒语，念诵经文，供养寺庙，修复佛塔，镇压地方的敌人，不要挖掘财宝，不要在地下挖掘黄金，修持忿怒莲师，役使母亲和姐妹，举行荟供和祭祀，用朵玛来满足神灵和恶鬼，遵守宗教法律、国家法律和誓言。这不是从根本上扭转，而是稍微扭转。总的来说，在五百年末法时期，因为做了坏事，所以被称为坏时代。国家没有安宁，到处都是灾难，生命短暂如流星。

A fortunate one will open the door to the treasure, and it will eventually flourish, so (the master) said. The king then asked the master: What is the cause of such things happening? In what year will it happen? Please tell me the methods to avert those things. The master said: Alas! King, the reason for those things happening is this: In the past, when the Blessed One and the demons competed in power, the demons were defeated, so the demons made a vow: In the final period of Shakya's teachings, I will take everything into my hands. Now, in the final age, most of those blessed by demons will compete for wealth and religious objects, conflicts will occur between fathers and sons, brothers, and regions, monks will not abide by the rules of the monastery, and will enjoy ornamentation, practitioners will not keep their vows, and will abandon retreat and practice, women will not be able to control their bodies, people will have no shame, rulers will not uphold the laws of the country, but will promote unwholesomeness, those without faith will manage religious property, and will create conflicts among Vajra brothers, hatred will burn like fire, greed will boil like water, Dharma protectors will become demons, and the era of divination and madness will flourish. Demons will bless mantra practitioners and monks, causing them to raise ghosts, learned monks will beat ghosts, and will propagate nihilistic views. Secret mantras will be publicly recited in the marketplace. That is the time when the teachings of demons will flourish. At that time, the Mongol army will start looking for opportunities for war in the Iron Male Dog year, will run like horses in the Water Male Horse year, will become cruel in the Fire Female Ox year, and can be slightly reversed in the Wood Female Ox year. These are the methods to reverse the situation: good national laws, bans on mountains, forests, and rivers, religious laws, ransom for life, abandoning all unwholesome actions, practicing the ten virtues, keeping vows and mantras, reciting scriptures, supporting temples, repairing stupas, suppressing local enemies, not digging for treasures, not digging for gold underground, practicing Wrathful Hayagriva, employing mothers and sisters, holding tsog and offering feasts, satisfying gods and demons with tormas, and upholding religious laws, national laws, and oaths. This is not a fundamental reversal, but a slight reversal. In general, in the final period of the five hundred years, it is called the bad age because of bad deeds. There is no peace in the country, disasters are everywhere, and life is as short as a shooting star.
