༄༅། ། Commentary on the Six Minor Connected Liberations. Commentary on Tsal Wang, Lamp of Awareness. EMBED Photoshop.Image.7 \s Homage to the deity of self-awareness wisdom. Then, the ripening wisdom empowerment of Tsal Wang of Kunsang (Sanskrit: Samantabhadra, meaning Universal Good) Father and Mother. Thus it is said, the method of bestowing the empowerment of the all-encompassing wisdom of the Buddhas' Intentions Combined has three parts: preparation, main practice, and conclusion. Furthermore, the qualified lama, to the fortunate disciple, shows the three all-encompassing empowerments. Thus it is said. To the Vajra Holder Lama, offer flowers and request. Thus it is said. First, to the lama who possesses the view, intention, and instructions, generate the perception of the Buddha and offer flowers, and repeatedly request the empowerment. Offer four torma gatherings, and recite the scriptures. Thus it is said. After the lama has accepted to bestow the empowerment, arrange offerings to the Dakinis, offer the great torma gathering seven times, thereby dispelling obstacles. Then, perform the four-fold monastic community, hold sessions on mantra and the Paramitas, and offer a great torma to the bhutas, thereby dispelling all preliminary obstacles. Offer a mandala of precious jewels, medicine, and grains. Thus it is said. Then, offer a golden mandala to the lama seven times there is a need to realize the meaning of the essence of the ground. Then offer a precious mandala seven times there is a need to realize the five bodies and five wisdoms. Then offer a medicine mandala seven times there is a need to be free from the five poisons of affliction. Then offer a grain mandala seven times there is a need to be free from poverty and destitution. Then, make the request for empowerment three times. Offer the request for the meaning of ripening and liberation. Thus it is said. Request: Alas! Masters and venerable ones, please cause me to ripen! Please bestow the empowerment of the wisdom and skill of the all-encompassing teachings! Please liberate me! Please grant all common and supreme accomplishments! Thus, make a strong request. Then, bestow the Tsal Wang on the mind. Thus it is said. The lama bestows the Tsal Wang of wisdom, the limb of the empowerment that ripens, on the disciple's mind. Whichever lama bestows the Tsal Wang of wisdom, the lama belongs to the Buddha's side, the disciple belongs to the sentient being's side, and by realizing the mind, one becomes a Buddha, thus it is said, all the Buddhas'

I am enlightened as a Buddha by realizing the self-arisen awareness of intrinsic awareness. Sentient beings also become Buddhas if they realize the self-arisen awareness of intrinsic awareness as self-liberated. That is, one's own awareness is pure in essence from the very beginning, its nature is clear in various ways, its compassion is unceasing and impartial. When the self-knowing, self-illuminating, and self-recognizing intrinsic wisdom arises, various appearances of uninterrupted thoughts of happiness and suffering appear, but their root comes from it. Like ice in water, or like mist in space, everything arises from it, so liberation is also self-liberated in its own nature. Whatever arises is liberated as the play of awareness. This means that, as mentioned above, when the root is determined, all phenomena of existence, movement, samsara, and nirvana are recognized as the play of one's own awareness. When one's own awareness gains control over oneself, there is nothing that is not under one's control. When one's own awareness becomes self-aware, self-illuminating, and self-liberated, there is no need to rely on the Buddha, because awareness itself is the Buddha. One's own self recognizes and determines the meaning of what has always been present. There is nothing that is not pervasive, so it is extremely vast. There is no doubt about samsara, because awareness itself is pure. Samsara and nirvana are liberated as the play of awareness. All thoughts of good and bad are purified and self-liberated in the play of awareness. If one realizes it internally, one becomes an inner Buddha. If one realizes it externally, one becomes an outer Buddha. Whatever arises is self-liberated in the realm of the root awareness. Self-awareness gains control, free from hope and doubt. This means that if one realizes and understands in this way, the power of awareness is obtained by oneself in one's own awareness. At that time, whatever appears, exists, or is remembered, all appear as the play of one's own awareness, so one is liberated from the extremes of negation, affirmation, hope, and doubt. Appearance and existence are liberated as one's own play. This means that, as mentioned above, when there is no hope or doubt, all phenomena of appearance and existence are liberated as the play of one's own awareness without exception. Tilopa directly obtains control over the play of awareness. This means that the essence of the single point, the self-radiance of the wisdom of the nature of awareness, is shown by opening the face. This is the meaning of the true awareness of the play. It is the attainment of the supreme power of control. The nature is clear, the essence is great. This means that when one obtains that power, from the nature of one's own awareness, all phenomena are gathered in the nature of one's own awareness, and all the self-radiance of the nature of awareness is self-knowing. The great essence is that there is nothing that is other than oneself or not gathered in oneself, so it is
