Thus it is said, the method of vase empowerment is separate. Here, for the entrance of the excellent ones, The method of bestowing the secret empowerment and below, I, Orgyen Padmasambhava, have taught, May it meet with a karmically destined one! Samaya! Gya gya gya! When the mandala platform is completely perfected, And the order of rituals is without error, After the vase empowerment is finished, To the south of that mandala, At the time of dusk, Arrange the five kinds of nectar, For the purification of speech obscurations and to be powerful, The secret empowerment is bestowed. To the qualified lama, The qualified disciple offers, Prostrations and a golden maṇḍala. The mudrā of the secret empowerment, To the consort with a name, Bathe, incense, and adorn with ornaments. Offering to the lamas: Emaho! You are great bliss, Great Bliss Lotus Heruka, You are the Great Bliss Father of the Sugatas, The Lord of Bliss, the Giver of Bliss, For the true meaning of Bodhisattvas, The pure and supreme is the true, Immaculate nectar, the sacred substance, Like the supreme empowerment of the unsurpassed, Likewise, for the sons of noble lineage, Eliminate all the sufferings of samsara! With immaculate great bliss nectar, Destroy the stains of ignorance and faults, The supreme Bodhi, the very nature of great bliss, May I attain it at this time! Thus saying, offer to the lamas. After praying in this way, The lama meditates on realization, Pray, make offerings, and praise. Then, for the disciples, Bind the face with silk or cloth, Holding a flower in the hand, Circumambulate and prostrate three times, First offer to the two parents. Then the lama bestows wisdom upon the disciple, The disciple stands before the lama, With ankles together, Respectfully joining palms at the heart, Then the lama blesses the samādhi, Alas! Son of noble lineage, listen! You yourself are a Buddha.

In the center of that, the sow is extremely small and clearly visualized. Thus, focus intently on the object. Make supplications, invoke blessings, and play music. Vibrate and dance, and generate the experience of bliss and clarity. In that state of indivisible bliss and emptiness, settle into meditation without distraction. Then, remove the face covering. The vase empowerment is shown at this time. It is a mandala of colored powders. This is a symbolic representation. One's own body is the mandala of the victorious ones. From the beginning, one's own body is the mandala. Also, introduce the place where it abides. In the five chakras, the five families, the five Buddha fathers and mothers reside. All the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are also introduced as the mandala of deities. The deity whose name is this, which the student hits with a flower, is shown by the master himself. Then, in front of the lama, inside the curtain of silk, the consort Varahi is actually generated. Bless the elements and sense bases. From the letter Pam (Tibetan: པཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: प, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: paṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Bang), the space of the consort arises. Visualize it as an eight-petaled lotus. Generate it as the nature of the Sugata's abode. From the letter Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hum), the secret place of the deity arises. Generate it as a five-pointed vajra. That also arises as the nature of the Buddha. Unite the skillful means and wisdom, father and mother. Then, stimulate and please the deities of the elements and sense bases through union. The essence of the elements, the bindu, is dropped into the lotus palace of the consort. After taking it out with mirrors, etc., mix the three sweets and the root substances. With yourself possessing samadhi, place it on the student's tongue. Empower with these vajra words: Ema, ema, son of the lineage! All the Buddhas of the three times, just as they empower the noble Bodhisattva, in the same way, the secret Bodhicitta now empowers you.
