Without letting go of awareness, Rest in the state of non-distraction, non-fabrication. This empty nature of your own mind, Is the Dharmakaya, the unborn. This clear and pure nature, Is the Sambhogakaya, the unceasing. This unceasing arising of anything, Is the Nirmanakaya, the unwavering. The three kayas are the resonance of self-existing awareness, Look at this meaning and meditate on it. Son, look at the nature of your mind, Look, but without seeing, rest in that state. Examine the nature of anger, Because its nature is emptiness, anger is liberated, That is mirror-like wisdom. Examine the nature of delusion, Because its nature is emptiness, delusion is liberated, That is the wisdom of equanimity. Examine the nature of desire, Because its nature is emptiness, desire is liberated, That is discriminating wisdom. Examine the nature of jealousy, Because its nature is emptiness, jealousy is liberated, That is accomplishing wisdom. Examine the nature of pride, Because its nature is emptiness, pride is liberated, That is the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. The five poisons purified are the five wisdoms, It is the self-power of self-knowing emptiness. Examine this meaning and meditate on it, If you can attain Buddhahood in one lifetime, You will gain mastery over the power of self-knowing. There is no fear or dread in that, What need to mention the pacification of suffering? This is the word empowerment. Thus, having fully bestowed the four empowerments, by the body vase empowerment, the obscurations of the body are purified, and one has the authority to practice the path of Mahayoga, and the fruit of the Nirmanakaya is attained. Second, by the speech secret empowerment, the obscurations of speech are purified, and one has the authority to practice the path of Anuyoga, and the fruit of the Sambhogakaya is attained. Third, by the wisdom knowledge empowerment, the obscurations of mind are purified, and one has the authority to practice the path of Atiyoga, and the fruit of the Dharmakaya is attained. Fourth, by the word empowerment, the precious one, the obscurations of the three doors are equally purified, and one has the authority to practice the wisdom of the Great Perfection, the originally pure spontaneously accomplished, and one is made to have the fortune to attain the fruit of the three kayas inseparable, or the Svabhavikakaya. Thus, having fully received the four empowerments of the great mandala of the lama in one sitting, this is the root of secret mantra, and the root of empowerment is samaya, that is, if explained in detail, the essence of what is said in the hundred thousand sections of samaya, the common samaya of the five families in the Vajrayana, and the essential points of the fourteen root downfalls, that is, the samayas of body, speech, and mind, the lama
