May it be accomplished! Thus, in the land of Mar (Tibetan place name), at the foot of the king of mountains, Ketara (transliteration), in the land of Druksha (transliteration), may all beings, regarding what to accept and reject, and how to conduct themselves in good and bad ways, truly believe, and pray to and entrust activities to the common Buddhas, the assembly of protectors, and those with fierce arrogance. May all these be accomplished through the power of the truth and the blessings of the Three Jewels and the Three Roots of the supreme secret. May the gods and sages accomplish with truthful words, and may those who have obtained the power of the words of the elements also become helpful companions. Furthermore, as we engage in this work, even if tiny insects are harmed in the paths of seeing, hearing, remembering, touching, and walking, may they be in harmony with the direction of the wind and abide in a state of equanimity. Likewise, for those who have become places of peace and attachment, and those who have become places of anger and conflict, in short, may all beings connected to them, without exception, be embraced by Bodhicitta, and may the accumulation of merit be dedicated to all in common. In particular, may the minds of the beings in this land, filled with hatred, conflict, and all kinds of unpleasantness, be auspicious, and may wars, disputes, and battles be pacified. May most beings be firmly established in the vows of Bodhicitta, and may they receive appropriate teachings, and so on. May these roots of virtue not be possessed solely by us, but through the power and ability of dedicating them to others, may all beings in this life fully enjoy the complete and excellent glory of their respective goodness without separation, and may they always be accompanied by happiness and virtue in future lives, and may they become the cause for quickly attaining the fruit of liberation and supreme Bodhi. May this aspiration be fulfilled. In particular, may the teachers, victors, protectors of the snowy land, and other supreme holy beings in this cool and pleasant land of Tibet, live long, may their lotus feet be firm, and may all their wishes be naturally fulfilled. May the community of relatives increase, and may those relatives have deep and lasting friendships, with constant and uninterrupted discussions of the sacred Dharma. May all subjects, without distinction of high or low, be liberated from the ages of disease, famine, and weapons, and may they always enjoy the joyous feast of the perfect age. In this way, may this ocean of virtue become: The compassion of the victorious Buddha, The precious rope of benefiting others through teachings, The wisdom that arises from my pure mind, A well-governed kingdom, Like the beauty of a lotus pond in the heavens. May this young moon-like sangha, Become an ornament for the ears of the goddesses of the directions, May the clusters of white lotuses, Grow ever more abundant. 2 Therefore, may this chain of well-developed communities, As wished and hoped for, until the very end, Without decline, be as stable as the roots of a tree, And may it remain undiminished until the end of samsara. 3 Although the merit of beings in this degenerate age is greatly diminished, The compassion of the victorious Buddha is inconceivable, May all unpleasant sufferings be instantly averted, And may we enjoy the joyous feast of perfect auspiciousness. In particular, may: The face of the earth-mirror, adorned with white dust like the fragrance of sala trees, The sight of beings enjoying happiness and well-being, Be as clear as the expression of wide-eyed smiles.
