何者，贤士以教理作观察，阐明之名极著称，应知如世间成立。如是时轮世界界，星球如何安住之理，如经义圣解之义，善说之尊胜者们，以至诚祈祷之加持力，已令其极为明晰。是故不唯随逐名声，重复而返还，亦未作以理智全新衡量，与教理相违之事。舍弃边见安住中观之语，此乃上师之加持真实。我于他方有情众，为使此所知于自身，成为无没具慧之悦乐，故立文字如意宝。倘若我为自心所惑，则向瞻视缘起器情之，具五神通之贤者忏悔，亦请赐予善妙之慰藉。善说乃圣者之语，依于无垢之光芒威力，能令显现之实相，毫无迷蒙而极为明晰，何其稀有。以此所作之善分些微，所有天神及世间，皆成智者之殊胜与顶尖。一切知一切见，众生之明灯，士夫圆满正等觉，普贤普乐，愿有情速得胜者之果位。吉祥时轮世界界，善说星球之理，名为“语简义明普贤光照”，此乃于藏地日光下之国度出生，于一切方所说法之大乘瑜伽士，策旺诺布·蒋扬嘉措之世间自在观世音，无间断之悲悯水流，吉祥东方木年之园林，于受莲花生加持之北方工布娘喀自生王处，于树林之中，铁狗年所造之余，水猪年仲春月，太阳位于狮子宫，于白方第一吉祥日，梵天之子罗希塔河右旋之岸，藏地莲花堆积之南工布之明点，名为清波九头河之水流树林苑囿中，与星球之环绕一同圆满撰著，复又由历算师们于绕迥十三之火兔（1747年）

That which, the wise, through reasoning and analysis of scriptures, has become renowned for its clarity, should be understood as the establishment of the world. Thus, the Kalachakra world system, how the planets abide, according to the meaning of the tantras, the meaning of the noble commentaries, to the excellent masters who teach, through the power of heartfelt prayers, it has been made exceedingly clear. Therefore, it is not merely following fame, repeating and reverting, nor has it been done in contradiction to the scriptures, with a completely new measure of reason. The talk of abiding in the Middle Way, abandoning extremes, this is truly the blessing of the Guru. For the sake of beings in other realms, so that this knowledge may also be in my own body, an undiminishing delight for the discerning, I have placed the letters as wish-fulfilling jewels. If I have erred through my own mind, then I confess to the wise who see the interdependent vessel and essence, endowed with the five clairvoyances, and may they also grant the solace of virtue. The well-spoken words are the speech of the supreme noble ones, relying on the power of the stainless rays of light, may the reality of appearances be made exceedingly clear, without any dimness, how wondrous. May all the slight portion of merit from this endeavor, in all the worlds with gods, become the supreme and excellent of the wise. Omniscient and all-seeing, the lamp of beings, the perfect Buddha, Samantabhadra, may beings quickly attain the state of the Victorious One. Auspicious Kalachakra world system, the well-spoken explanation of the planets, called "Brief Words, Clear Meaning, Illuminating Light of Samantabhadra," this was born in the land of Tibet under the sun, the great vehicle yogi who speaks the Dharma in all directions, Tsewang Norbu Jamyang Gyatso, the uninterrupted stream of compassion of the Lord of the World, Avalokiteshvara, in the auspicious eastern wood-year garden, at the self-arisen king Padma-blessed northern Kong Nyang Kha, in the forest, the remainder of what was created in the Iron Dog year, in the Water Pig year, in the middle of spring, when the sun is in the house of Leo, on the first auspicious day of the white side, on the bank where the son of Brahma, the Rohita River, swirls to the right, in the southern Kongpo, the bindu of the lotus heap of Tibet, in the garden delightful to the mind with the riverine forest of the river called Qingbo Nine-Headed River, it was completely composed together with the planetary orbits, and again by the calculators in the Fire Hare year of the thirteenth Rabjung (1747).
