Fourth, Karma and its Results. Fourth, Karma and its Results. Secondly, the teaching that the origin should be abandoned is the teaching on cause and effect. The situations of the six realms of existence are different, the bodies and supports are different, the happiness and suffering are different, the lifespans are different, and so on. All of these arise from karma and its results. Regarding this, the view of the Teacher, the Bhagavan, is sealed with the four seals of the Dharma, which is from "ye dharmā" (Sanskrit Devanagari: ये धर्मा, Sanskrit Romanization: ye dharmā, Chinese literal meaning: all dharmas) to "śramaṇa" (Sanskrit Devanagari: श्रमण, Sanskrit Romanization: śramaṇa, Chinese literal meaning: ascetic). It is said that adding "Om, auspiciousness" (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བདེ་ལེགས་) at the beginning and "svāhā" (Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: svāhā, Chinese literal meaning: svāhā) at the end is fundamental. These two were established by all the paṇḍitas considering consecration and auspiciousness. If "ye dharmā" is translated into Tibetan, it is: All dharmas arise from causes, and the cause and its cessation, the Great Ascetic has thus spoken. Therefore, first, "all dharmas" is plural, so what are these many dharmas? They are the dharmas that encompass the knowable, saṃsāra, nirvāṇa, and the three paths. Among these, in the view of inner Buddhism, all dependent arising dharmas that arise from cause and karma arise from cause. Regarding this, first, in the view of outer schools, there are three hundred and sixty wrong views that believe that they do not arise from cause, or arise from no cause. If these are summarized, they are summarized into five logical arguments, or five kinds of speculation. If further summarized, they are summarized into the two views of permanence and annihilation. First, annihilationists believe that both the views of Gotama (Śākyamuni Buddha) and the eternalists are wrong, because all dharmas arise from their own nature. For example, the current body is like a rainbow appearing in the sky, or many deer suddenly appearing on the grass, it is just an appearance. The body is like snow, and the mind is like the footprints of a wolf. Just as when the snow melts, the footprints of the wolf also disappear, they believe that apart from the current appearance, there is no future life, liberation, etc. At the time of death, the body will dissolve into the four elements, and the mind will also dissolve into its habitual tendencies and disappear. As the teachings of Black Īśvara say: The sun rises, the river flows downwards, round beans, long sharp thorns, the beautiful and attractive peacock feathers, none of these were made by anyone, but arose from their own nature. The eternalists believe that Gotama's view is wrong. There are past and future lives, but they do not arise from karma and its results.

It is done by another author. Who does it? It is done by the Great Lord, the great Isvara, the eternal, the only one, the independent one. If you offer him the flesh of children and cows, he will be pleased and bring happiness to the world. If he is not pleased, he will bring unhappiness to the world. Therefore, happiness and suffering are caused by others. Or, the so-called "Lord" refers to the equal mixture of the three: happiness, suffering, and equanimity, or the three: desire, hatred, and ignorance. The name "Lord" is given to the dust that is transformed from the sky. The eternal being of inner wisdom enjoys it, and finally, when the wise one knows that it is the Lord who has transformed it, the Lord flees in shame. All the manifestations of the Lord disappear into the space of the Lord, and when the being is separated from the manifestations, they think they have attained liberation, and they think that there is an inconceivable, eternal self, the size of a thumb, inside the heart. For example, this body is like a pottery, and consciousness is like a bird. When the body is destroyed, consciousness is free to go anywhere. In the Buddhist view, the belief in both permanence and annihilation is wrong. All the dharmas included in the three: samsara, nirvana, and the path, originate from causes. How do beings arise from causes? Gods, Brahmas, demons, joyful lords, etc., cannot know. The lord of beings, King Rūpavat, King Ajatashatru, and Sharpa, etc., cannot know. The six heretical teachers, etc., cannot know. The sons of the Buddha, such as Maitreya and Manjushri, also follow the Buddha's teachings and teach, but they themselves do not fully know. The reason why they do not fully know is that they have not yet abandoned the obscurations of habits. Nagarjuna, Asanga, the six ornaments and the two supreme ones, etc., cannot fully know. Disciples, shravakas and pratyekabuddhas, etc., cannot fully know. Their paths also only follow the Buddha's teachings. Shravakas have four reasons why they cannot fully know: first, they cannot know due to the kalpas of the place; second, they cannot know due to the kalpas of time; third, they cannot know the endless result of the beginningless cause; fourth, they cannot know the very many teachings of the Buddha.
