From enjoyment, ultimately manifesting the supreme state of liberation and peace, and also fulfilling the intentions of the previous vidyādharas, and being meaningful in response to the exhortations of many great beings of Do-khams, accomplishing the great deeds of the sons of the buddhas, upholding the sacred Dharma of the buddhas of the three times, increasing the accumulation of merit of wealthy patrons, male and female, and clearly experiencing the realization when the aspirations and prayers of many previous lives come to fruition. As it is said in the *Bhadrakalpika-sutra*: "Holding the sacred Dharma of the buddhas, making the conduct of bodhi shine everywhere." Regarding the benefit of physical representations, it is stated in the Samadhiraja Sutra: "Images made of clay, stone, or wood, beautifully and exquisitely pleasing to behold, will soon become lords of the victorious ones." The tantras state that physical representations are the embodiments of body, speech, and mind: "The body, speech, and mind representations of the Sugatas, will not exist when the teachings decline, nor are they found among the tirthikas and barbarians. Therefore, physical representations are emanations." And so on. Although extensive benefits have been mentioned, they are omitted due to fear of voluminous writing.
