That is, in the future, one will never suffer the pain of the three lower realms, etc., and without experiencing hardship and fatigue, one can easily and quickly attain the precious state of perfect Buddhahood simply by obtaining a human body with leisure and opportunity that is even more superior than that of the gods. Secondly, the aspiration to fulfill the supreme intention: May all sentient beings, as infinite as the sky, continuously make offerings of wealth and practice to all the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Tathagatas, residing in the ten directions, for countless times. Through these merits, may all sentient beings always possess the undefiled, inconceivable, and infinite bliss attained by the Buddhas. May the sons of the Buddhas, the great Bodhisattvas, actually accomplish the task of maturing and liberating all sentient beings as they wish. May the protector of all beings, the all-knowing Buddha, together with his sons, the assembly of great Bodhisattvas, quickly bestow upon sentient beings all the supreme benefits and happiness, just as they wish. The above is a sequential dedication from the perspective of the agent and the object of action. Similarly, may the solitary Buddhas who have realized the profound dependent origination and attained enlightenment through self-generated wisdom, and the Shravakas who have heard the Dharma from their respective pure teachers, also attain the bliss of pacifying all suffering, and ultimately attain the great bliss of perfect Buddhahood. Secondly, dedicating to the cause of one's own benefit and Bodhi practice: May I, the author, also rely on the grace and blessings of the supreme deity, the venerable Manjushri, so that in all lifetimes before attaining the first Bhumi, the Joyful Ground, I can remember my previous lives, have unwavering faith in cause and effect, and never forget the mind of Bodhi. Living at home is the root of all the faults of this life and the next, while renouncing

Since renunciation is the basis of all benefits and happiness in both this life and the next, may I obtain perfectly pure monastic vows. In the teachings of the Thus-Gone One, even if one takes and protects just one precept in this day and age, the benefits of obtaining great merit are mentioned in the King of Samadhi Sutra: "For as many eons as there are grains of sand in the Ganges, with faithful mind, one offers food and drink, umbrellas and banners, and garlands of lamps, serving billions of Buddhas. If someone, when the sacred Dharma is utterly destroyed and the Thus-Gone One's teachings are about to disappear, practices one precept day and night, that one is far superior in merit to the former." Thus, if one renounces and protects the precepts without diminishing them, the benefits of accomplishing the complete fulfillment of one's own and others' purposes in this life and the next are inconceivable, so what need is there to mention more? May I, even with meager food such as alms, have a body that is healthy, full of strength, and live in happiness. In all lifetimes until I attain Buddhahood, may I also obtain the complete qualities of dwelling in solitary places, both outer, inner, and secret, for the sake of accomplishing virtue. That is to say, the necessity of this is as stated above, and contemplating the qualities of solitary places, taking seven steps in that direction is more beneficial than offering to all the Buddhas of the ten directions for as many eons as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, as stated in the Sutra of the Moon Lamp. In the commentaries, it is said that this teacher is a noble being, so "until the attainment of the Joyful Ground" and so on, are for the purpose of guiding followers to train on the path. At whatever time one desires to see or behold the beautiful face of the venerable Manjushri, adorned with marks and signs, or even if one wishes to ask a little about the meaning of the Dharma, at that time may the protector Manjushri himself be seen directly without any obstacles or obscurations, and may he always embrace and protect me in every way. In order to easily accomplish all the temporary and ultimate benefits of all sentient beings pervading the ten directions of the world, reaching to the limits of the sky, how the body, speech, and mind of Manjushri

Just as the inconceivable emanations of the Bodhisattva's great conduct solely benefit others, may my own conduct be the same, solely accomplishing the benefit of others, and nothing else. In short, may I be able to act like the wisdom of the Bhagavan Manjushri, the compassion of Avalokiteshvara, the power of Vajrapani, the liberation of Samantabhadra, and so on, as well as the inconceivable emanations of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the eight great close sons and other holy beings. For this purpose, from the depths of my heart, I dedicate the roots of virtue and pray. Furthermore, as long as space exists, and as long as all beings exist, during that time, I, as a practitioner who benefits others, will not enter Nirvana and will eliminate all the suffering of samsara and the lower realms for all beings. May any suffering of beings, such as those in hell, ripen upon me and be purified. May the aspiration, the two accumulations, and the prayers of the Bodhisattva Sangha, and relying on their power, may limitless beings enjoy the complete happiness and well-being, both temporary and ultimate. This is the third dedication of the two benefits of the Dharma to flourish: May it become the supreme medicine that alone pacifies all the diseases of the suffering of samsara and the lower realms of limitless beings, and may it become the supreme source of all temporary and ultimate complete happiness, which is the precious Buddha Dharma. The so-called Buddha Dharma, as the great scholar Chandragomin said: 'The Teacher's doctrine has two aspects, namely scripture and the nature of realization. The holders are only those who speak and those who practice.' Therefore, may the holy beings who uphold the Dharma cherish the Dharma and sentient beings, engaging in teaching and listening to the Vinaya, Sutra, and Abhidharma, the three precious pitakas of the scriptures, and for the Dharma of realization, the superior training of the path.

Having practiced the three trainings, namely discipline, concentration, and wisdom, adorning the body with the three robes, adorning the speech with the three pitakas of scripture, and adorning the mind with the three paths of training, may those who uphold the teachings through the two wheels of explanation and practice, and may the patrons of the teachings who possess abundant faith and generosity, with abundant gains and respect, cause this precious teaching of the Buddha, the source of benefit and happiness, to flourish and spread in all directions and at all times until the end of existence, and may it remain for a long time. Connected with this aspiration, connected with the desire that it would be wonderful if the teachings remained, connected with the vow that I will make the teachings remain, and connected with the prayer that the gurus and the three jewels bless me to be able to do so, may we dedicate and pray with these four connections. In short, if the precious teachings of the Buddha, the source of benefit and happiness, meaningful to all who are connected, remain in this world, then the merit associated with it will be extremely great. In the Sutra Requested by Blo-gros rgya-mtsho, it says: Perfect Bodhicitta and the holders of Dharma, practicing the Dharma and loving beings, these four dharmas have immeasurable qualities, the limits of these have not been spoken by the Victorious Ones. Therefore, one should realize the immeasurable benefits of upholding the sacred Dharma and saving the lives of sentient beings, etc. In the Sutra of Pairs, it says: Those who give even a hair's breadth of charity to my teachings, in eighty thousand kalpas, will have great enjoyment and much wealth. Etc., this is about the merit of generosity. In the Samadhiraja Sutra, as mentioned above, there is the merit of discipline. In the Sutra of Increasing Realization, it says: If one enters into meditation for a single moment, it is more meaningful than giving life to all the people who fill the three realms. Etc., this is about the merit arising from meditation, that is, the difference in the merit of the three objects of meritorious action. Those who desire to attain higher realms and definite goodness will obtain great benefits if they engage in these three objects of meritorious action. However, even more than that, the ultimate antidote to the two obscurations is profound emptiness, the realization that is free from all elaborations.
