The eighth prince, Harmless, said: "I will make the Buddha-field completely pure, just as the Buddha-field is without afflictions, just like the world-realm Stainless Blue Appearance, and practice accordingly. I will generate and meditate on one trillion and one thousand bodhisattva samadhis, including the samadhi Appearance Arrangement and so forth. May I see the Buddhas residing in the limitless worlds of the ten directions, and the Buddha-fields of the three times, filled with the Victorious Ones called Banner Peak Adornment. Furthermore, may I see the Victorious Ones surrounded by limitless assemblies of hearers and bodhisattvas, and prostrate to them with limitless bodies equal to the dust motes of the fields, make immeasurable offerings, ripen sentient beings, and just as I have made aspirations and spoken truthful words, purify the Buddha-field like Stainless Blue Appearance, and may it be accompanied by wondrous signs." The Thus-Gone One praised, saying: "Well done! Well done! You are delighted to purify the Buddha-field, completely purify the continuums of countless sentient beings, and make immeasurable and countless offerings to immeasurable and countless Buddhas. The ninth prince, Sinless, said, When I practice the Bodhisattva conduct, in all lifetimes until I attain great Bodhi, I will abandon regret and disturbing the minds of others, as well as doubt and the minds of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and all unwholesome minds, I will renounce, respect the Dharma speakers, etc., and as the vows are firm and act as spoken, etc., thus declaring the truthful words of the vow, as he showed the miraculous transformations such as the appearance of a precious wheel of the gods with a thousand spokes in his two hands, the Tathagata praised: You have made very good aspirations, and this wheel of the gods will also place limitless beings in the empty lands of the five degenerations in a mind without defilement and cause them to uphold Bodhi, therefore, you will become known as the Immovable One. You will become a Buddha, take hold of the pure Buddha-field. The prince said: All the earth is made of gold and is as flat as the palm of the hand, covered with heavenly jewels, etc., possessing the qualities of the vessel, without the five degenerations, evil destinies, old age, and death, remembering the Buddha, etc., possessing virtuous Dharma, without attachment and possession, etc., possessing the qualities of sentient beings, possessing mansions, garments, music, etc., all the enjoyments of happiness, thus holding the wonderful adornment of the Buddha-field. The Tathagata revealed: Son of the lineage, Immovable One, in the future, after one great kalpa as numerous as the sands of the Ganges has passed, you will descend upon the second great kalpa.

Also, nine hundred million kotis of beings, and two hundred billion beings, holding Buddha-fields, made aspirations for unsurpassed enlightenment; all of these were prophesied by the Tathagata to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment in different worlds. Then, the Brahmin Ocean Dust urged the eldest of the eighty brothers of the Tathagata, the Brahmin boy Ocean Empowerment All-Pervading, to hold a Buddha-field. Ocean Dust said, 'Father, you should roar the lion's roar.' The son said, 'You should first make an aspiration, and I will make one later.' He said, 'Father, do you hold a completely pure Buddha-field, or an impure one?' The father said, 'Brahmin boy, although Bodhisattvas who possess great compassion will fully accept impure realms, you should know this yourself.' Then, the Brahmin boy Ocean Empowerment All-Pervading, in front of the Tathagata, made the aspiration: 'May I attain supreme enlightenment when beings have a lifespan of eighty thousand years.' At that time, the sentient beings' attachment and other afflictions will be small, and many will have the thought of being weary of samsara; may I become a Buddha among such beings. The Tathagata prophesied: 'In the future, after countless eons, as many as the sands of one Ganges River, in an eon called Utpala Perfect Awakening, in the best of the four continents of this Buddha-field, when beings have a lifespan of eighty thousand years, you will become a Buddha named Tathagata Jewel Accumulation.' Then, the second son of the Brahmin, Truly Born, and so on, up to the youngest son, were all prophesied to become Buddhas in that same eon. The youngest son of the attendant, named Fearless One, aspired: 'May the measure of the bodies of the Buddhas, the taming of beings, the number of the Sangha, and the teaching of the Dharma, accomplished by the seventy-nine Brahmin boys who were previously prophesied, be equal to the lifespan and taming of those Buddhas.'

Ocean Dust urged the Brahmin boys to generate the mind of enlightenment and to enjoy whatever qualities and arrangements of the Buddha-field they desired. The chief of the Brahmin boys, Star Cluster, said: By what kind of path, what kind of assembly, what kind of conduct, and what kind of mindfulness will enlightenment be attained? The leader said: Not the four inexhaustible treasuries of merit, wisdom, knowledge, and correct practice, but the praise of the path of great enlightenment was spoken. The Brahmin boy then vowed before the Tathagata to become a Buddha in this degenerate realm, and with words of truth, he showed the manifestation of the chief of elephants appearing in his two hands. The Tathagata prophesied that he would be called the Buddha Great Jewel Umbrella Manifest Light. Similarly, a thousand Brahmin boys and three crore Brahmin boys all prayed to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment in this Buddha-field, and all of them were prophesied by the Tathagata Jewel Heart. The last will become the Buddhas Vipashyin, Ushnishin, and All-Savior. Among all the prophesied Brahmin boys, one who was well-versed in the Vedas, the eldest of a thousand Brahmins, revered by many, named Pervasive Wind, prayed: May I become a Buddha in a Buddha-field endowed with the five degenerations, and may I teach the Dharma to sentient beings afflicted by the three poisons. A Brahmin boy named Star Protector asked: O Abbot, what meaning has Pervasive Wind seen that he prays to become a Buddha in a Buddha-field endowed with the five degenerations? The Brahmin Ocean Dust said: Whatever Bodhisattva is endowed with great compassion, he will attain enlightenment in a realm endowed with the five degenerations, and for sentient beings without refuge or protection
