The Blessed One said: These great Bodhisattvas who have come from countless other Buddha-fields, they have all been prophesied to attain unsurpassed enlightenment by the Buddhas of the past and present. The king asked: O Blessed One, when will this Brahmin Ocean Dust attain unsurpassed enlightenment, so that we may also attain unsurpassed enlightenment? The Blessed One said: Brahmin Ocean Dust is endowed with great compassion, and when he roars the lion's roar, you will also hear it. The king asked: If I could receive the prophecy of the Blessed One, and if my aspiration could be fulfilled, then when I prostrate with five limbs at the feet of the Blessed One, may the worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges shake and tremble, and may the Buddhas dwelling in those fields also prophesy to me. Then he prostrated at the feet of the Buddha and made this aspiration, and the Buddhas prophesied to him as he wished. The Blessed One said: O most excellent of beings who know what to do, with the power of as many Ganges you are prophesied, even the earth with mountains has moved, you will become the guide who tames beings. Then, the retinue of the wheel-turning king rejoiced and were delighted, and gathered in one place to listen to the Dharma, neither too close nor too far away. Then, the Brahmin Ocean Dust called the son of the wheel-turning king, Unblinking, and instructed him as before. Then Unblinking said: O Blessed One, when I look at the evil destinies, there is unbearable suffering; when I look at the heavens, because of the mind of affliction, they fall back into the evil destinies. When I look at all beings, they are seized by evil friends and are in the darkness of the famine of Dharma, the roots of virtue are exhausted, they are seized by the crocodile of wrong views, and they dwell in the evil path. For their sake, I dedicate all roots of virtue to unsurpassed enlightenment. When I practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva, may those beings who are suffering, fearful, lacking Dharma, discouraged, weak, and without refuge, remember me and call my name. May I hear it with my divine ear and see it with my divine eye.

After King Rimgyi Mukhyu becomes the Buddha Amitayus, and completely passes into nirvana, until the sacred Dharma disappears, I will practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and when I attain enlightenment at dawn when the sacred Dharma disappears at night, I request the Bhagavan and the Buddhas of the ten directions to prophesy me. The Tathagata said: Son of good family, because you look upon all sentient beings in the heavens and the evil realms and generate a mind of compassion, therefore you shall be called Avalokiteshvara. Avalokiteshvara, you will liberate immeasurable sentient beings from suffering, and even in the time of a Bodhisattva, you will do the deeds of a Buddha. Son of good family, after the Tathagata Amitabha completely passes into nirvana, after countless eons, equivalent to twice the sands of the Ganges, on the dawn of the very night when the sacred Dharma disappears, you will sit on a vajra seat under many arranged Bodhi trees and attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, and you will be called the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Light Rays Shining in All Directions, Glorious Accumulation King. The qualities of his field will be like those of King Splendor-Accumulation. The third prince, named "Host of Powers," took on the vast conduct of a bodhisattva, and the Blessed One spoke about holding a measure and qualities of a field that were exceedingly vast: "Well done, noble son! You are wise, clear, and mindful, and you have made an exceedingly good aspiration. You are endowed with qualities and wisdom, and for the sake of all sentient beings, you have auspiciously made such an excellent and supreme intellect, and you have completely taken on the supreme arrangement of the qualities of a buddha-field. Son of good family, may you become Mañjuśrī! Mañjuśrī, in the future, after countless eons, as many as the sands of two Ganges Rivers, have passed, when the third one arrives, in the southern direction, there will be a pure world called "Pure, Dustless, Perfectly Accumulated." This Sahā world will also be included in it. There, you will attain unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment and become the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, called "All-Seeing." The fourth prince, named "Without Afflictions," like Mañjuśrī's aspiration, took on the same field and bodhisattva conduct. The Tathāgata said to him, "When you become a bodhisattva, you will also destroy the mountain of afflictions of immeasurable sentient beings, and you will also do the deeds of a buddha. The Tathagata declared: "Noble son, your aspiration is excellent, and you have also upheld a good realm. You will quickly attain samadhi, and the rain of lotus flowers of truthful words will fall. Because lotuses have rapidly bloomed in the sky, you shall become known as the Sky Mudra. After countless kalpas, as many as the sands of one Ganges River, have passed, when you descend into the second countless kalpa, in the southeast direction, in the world called Lotus, you will become known as the Lotus Supreme Buddha, whose lifespan and the number of bodhisattva sanghas will be immeasurable." The sixth prince, named Sky, upheld the aspiration and realm of the Bodhisattva Sky Mudra as they were. The Tathagata praised him, saying: "Noble being, well done! Your aspiration is vast, and your merit will cause the many worlds of the ten directions, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, to become one. In that Buddha-field, inspired by countless pleasing sounds, you shall become known as Illuminator. In the future, after countless kalpas, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, have passed, when you descend into the second countless kalpa, in the eastern direction, in the world called Sun and Moon, you will become known as the Tathagata Dharma-自在-自在王 (Lord of Dharma Empowerment)."
