Whatever the task, big or small, it prevents it from going smoothly and creates obstacles. The so-called "demon of karma" refers to the self-nature of the confused habits of dualistic appearance, from beginningless samsara to the present moment, due to the failure to recognize one's own nature, the karmic appearances of the six realms, the experiencer of various feelings of pleasure and pain, the one who grasps at names and forms, the wheel of the twelve links of dependent origination turning without ceasing, the ignorance born together with samsara, or the essence of the four maras, which is the confused habit of dualistic appearance. The so-called "demon of the body" refers to the manifestation of diseases, the mixture of wind, bile, and phlegm, residing from the tip of the hair to the toenails of this flesh and blood body produced by the confused habits of black and white dualistic appearance. The so-called "demon of the place" refers to the external environment that is confused in the duality of subject and object, the arrangement of the world system composed of the five elements, from the four continents, Mount Meru, etc., to their respective regions, valleys, forests, cemeteries, rivers, oceans, temples, stupas, etc., the places where things appear to exist, as well as the gods and spirits, both common and individual, who dwell therein and do good and evil. Primarily, it refers to the father who generates the seed of body and life, and the mother who perfects the causes and conditions. Then, with the above-mentioned bodhicitta, visualize yourself as the primordial Dharmakaya Great Bliss Dakini, complete with ornaments and attire, full of pride, strike the thighbone trumpet three times on the palm of your left hand, thinking that you hear the sound of "Do not be afraid!" the first time, "Do not be frightened!" the second time, and "Do not be very frightened!" the third time. Then, blow the thighbone trumpet and make the sound "Phat" three times, thinking that the first time those guests hear the Dharmakaya's own sound of the Great Bliss Dakini, that is, after hearing the sound of "Hey, listen!", they immediately stop their respective karmic activities and listen quietly. The second time, think that hearing the sound of "Gather!", they gather with the joy of a destitute person meeting a savior. The third time, think that hearing "Gather quickly!", like a mountain covered in fog, a large bird surrounded by birds, rotten meat covered with flies, the Shidwa gathering at a banquet.

Think that they are gathered around you with a buzzing sound. Having gathered in this way, on your right is the father, and on your left is the mother. Around those two are the guests of the six realms, and in front of you, as if below, reside the demons of the body, place, and chief, as well as enemies, harmers, causes of obstacles, and so on. All the types of guests mentioned before are seated, and they are relaxed in body and mind, without harming each other, and dwelling in peace. During regular practice, when dealing with karmic demons, visualize them as being surrounded by karmic debts within. When dealing with bodily demons, visualize them as being surrounded by harmers in the middle. When dealing with place demons, visualize them as being surrounded by tangible enemies outside. If it is specifically for subduing the disease demons of oneself and others, then visualize the bodily demons and their retinue within, the place demons and their retinue in the middle, and the karmic demons and their retinue outside. When going to mountains, cemeteries, etc., visualize the place demons and their retinue within, the bodily demons and their retinue in the middle, and the karmic demons and their retinue outside. This is how to meditate. Secondly, the visualization of the refuge field: In the sky in front, on a lion throne, lotus, and moon disc, visualize the essence of all refuge places combined, the Dharmakaya Great Mother, inseparable from the root guru, with the color of pure gold, one face and four arms. The two right hands hold a vajra and the earth-touching mudra. The two left hands hold a scripture and the meditation mudra. She is complete with all the marks and signs and ornaments. She sits in the vajra posture. Above, there are the Kagyu lineage lamas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas. In the middle, there are the deities of the four tantra classes. Below, there are the heroes, dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardian deities, all gathered like a dense cloud. Then, with yourself as the leader, all the guests, not just with words, but from the depths of your heart and bones, from this moment until reaching the essence of enlightenment, no matter how high or low, good or bad, whatever happens to these beings of oneself and others who pervade the sky, may you attain your state. Refuge place, you know! Thinking in this way, all of you and others recite the refuge prayer, focusing on leading all sentient beings, starting from "My own mind is emptiness, the unborn Dharmakaya is the refuge," until "I take refuge." And entrusting the temporary and ultimate hope to the Three Jewels, may body, speech, and mind turn towards enlightenment.
