Thinking that before I attain accomplishment here, it is better to live by eating blue rhododendrons, one then abandons accumulating provisions and begins to meditate, and the feeling of hunger diminishes. The strength of the body becomes smaller and smaller, and once, everyone finds it hard to believe. Looking at one's body, the nose has disappeared, and one has become green and thin, tottering, about to break. One day, many people come to that rock to look for feathers. When they see him, they initially say he is a non-human, and then run away. When I say I live here, they still say whether he is a human, stand far away, and exclaim in surprise. They say, "It's so strange, humans don't die." Then they leave. After that, I thought that rather than being a human, it would be better to die in this rock, but I can't die. After a few days, an old man among those people comes with a piece of tsampa, puts the tsampa in the rhododendrons, and lets him eat it. Accumulate the merits of good patrons, Facilitate the assembly of profound dependent arising. This body, difficult to obtain and easy to destroy, Is healthy when it encounters food. The essence of fertile soil, The nectar of the blue sky, Are the dependent arising that benefits beings. The essence of dependent arising is the Dharma. The illusory body nurtured by parents, The instructions of the supreme lama, Are the dependent arising for practicing the Dharma. The essence of dependent arising is diligence.
